The staff were great. Problems were more with amenities. First day there the octopool was closed for maintenance so the grandchildren were upset but they assured us it would be open the following day. Well the following day it ended up being closed as well. On the third day it finally opened around 11. Also on day 1 there was a water main break Ana so water for drinking was only available by boiling and so the following two days coffee was unavailable for breakfast. On the third day they started repairs on the beach using large and noisy construction vehicles. Overall in comparison to my last visit it was a flop. This trip was supposed to be a once in a lifetime family event and I was very much hoping for things to go off without a hitch. I understand that things happen and maintenance issues arrive but some sort of compensation in resort fees should have been offered

Pink Shell was the perfect place to get away and relax in the sun. Our room was larger than we anticipated, exceeding our expectations. The property was large enough where you didn’t feel crowded and the staff were very courteous and professional. A ll in all we had a great time!

Gorgeous beach and nice hotel!
Had a good stay here… the beach is beautiful, and white sand. and because it’s the last hotel on that beach- not crowded. Beach chairs aren’t brought out until a certain time in the morning, so we did have to wait a bit.. but I guess that’s nice cause people can’t reserve them at 6am. Reserved a balcony gulf view room. unfortunately was put on the first floor of their small lower, third building. (Didn’t even realize there were multiple buildings) it wasn’t the most awesome view, but not bad. My only complaint would be to get into any pool area (like ours in the third building) you have to go all the way back to the first building to enter and then walk over. Great free breakfast buffet!
