Hotels.com messed up and never sent our reservation to the hotel so when we arrived, they did not have the room I booked available. We ended up with a smaller room. You could tell that some renovations tot he hotel have been made but the room doors were clearly old, dented and didn’t seem very secure. The bathroom was minuscule, with the vanity out in the main room area. Breakfast was bare bones also; nothing to write home about but it was doable. The water pressure and temperature were horrible. We had a first floor room in the “3” wing. Also, woke up this morning to a roach. This place wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen and it served its purpose as our plans were last minute. Definitely got what we paid for. I would avoid it if there is another option available.

C grade hotel
We arrived at 9pm, paid $184 for the night, and we just wanted to go to sleep. The problem was the AC didnt power on. Its hot in Florida. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms. They said no, sold out. That was a lie because Hotels.com was still selling rooms at 9pm for the night, I checked. Anyway, the Maintenance guy came with an entirely new wall AC unit to hang out the window. That took about 35 minutes. It cooled the room well, but we had to wait. I wont be back. You get what you pay for.

Comfortable overnight stay
Very comfortable overnight stay while taking a road trip. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and bathroom was clean and was able to shower. Front desk help was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was old, run down and overall cheap. They were in the middle of remodels of some rooms and it was extremely loud throughout the entire day. They required a $150 security deposit and I still have yet to receive my deposit back. The room was left in good condition, no trash, no lthing messed up or ruined. I even put all the towels and linens by the door for house keeping. Essentially, they stole my security deposit.

Just a really good property for the price. It was kept clean, the pool is nice. The staff were very helpful. Our room was comfortable though the bathroom was a little small. The hot breakfast of waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast and fruit was adequate.

Okay, but....
Dark room, but clean. No carpet b'c pets are allowed. Real human staff all the time, all very nice even though service was lacking. Complained every day but phone never fixed, unsafe for us seniors in furthest room. Handyman did fix tub to hold water. Not told maid service only every 3 days. Cheap towels rough as loofahs. Bedding was nice, but mattress was miserable, full of sink-holes, especially edge. Did not sleep well. No elevator for 2nd floor. Pool too cold in January, unheated. Small, so probably water too hot all summer. All gluten hi-carb breakfast. But walking distance to modest little strip mall, and we did feel safe here. Lots of free parking. Wifi worked. Price was right.
