Ready to disconnect and relax? Grab a drink and hop in the hot tub, or build a fire in the firepit. Enjoy coffee and a book from the porch while watching the deer and other wildlife wander nearby.
Very convenient location! Only minutes from downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon. Very quiet cabin in the woods!
This cabin shares 20 acres in the woods with a few of our others. Each are spaced out to keep it private and relaxing! It was built in late 2022. It is completely self-sufficient, fully-furnished with all appliances.
We now have Wi-Fi! So, if you *have* to work, or if you're needing to binge watch your favorite Netflix shows, you can now do so!
Each of our cabins have a private hot tub located on the covered back deck, a fire pit, and a campsite style charcoal grill. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils you should need to prepare your favorite meals if you're looking to stay in. We use Keurig pod coffee makers in each of our cabins, so grab your favorite blend!
This cabin has a king sized bed and a full-size sleeper sofa.
Things you should know!
All sheets and linens are provided.
We provide a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine tablet. We also provide a few K-cups to get you started.
According to your length of stay, you may want to bring extra coffee, detergents and garbage bags.
We do not provide any toiletries at this time.
Phone service can be limited, however, we have signal boosters in each of our cabins. AT&T and Verizon seem to work fine, though we have been told that T-Mobile/Sprint users didn't have signal. Having wi-fi now may allow many modern phones to operate over it.

Quick Getaway
If you are looking for a cabin to stay in the area I highly recommend “Bear’s Den”. The cabin is centrally located and a short drive to most anywhere you want to visit in the area. It is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed. Quincy was great with communication from start of reservation until checking out to make sure we had everything we needed. It is very private, quiet & relaxing and very easy to get to. Loved the porches, hot tub and the king size bed slept great! No need to look any further, just book it! We are looking forward to staying here again when we get to come back.

Property is always very clean and well prepped for your stay, Quincy the property manager is Awesome! he's always available by messenger if you have any questions. Nice hot tub and view. Need more hooks for clothes n hats. No hair dryer. Got bit by horse fly. Lots of wasps. Need an ottoman for feet and legs. No salt or pepper. Enjoyed coffee maker. Front step was wet and slick. Hot tub and bedroom air conditioner was loud and woke me up several times. Enjoyed front porch rockers. Needed more dish detergent and pods. Nice and quiet. Saw deer. Peaceful Getaway with Great Amenities
The town of Fort Payne is not exactly the travel destination of the universe, but the area around is beautiful, even in the middle of winter. And these "modern rustic" cabins with plenty of trees surrounding them (particularly Cabin 1) provided the perfect short getaway. The living/kitchen area is very roomy, and the bedroom/bathroom, connecting to the porch with hot tub*, made for a great arrangement. Individual climate controls in the two areas were nice and helped provide the right warmth. While we did not use the washer/dryer, that is a nice plus. NOTE: There is no detergent for the washer and, as indicated in the fine print (make sure to read!) there are no toiletries. *Cabin 1 seemed to have the most privacy, and in particular, it appeared that really no one could see the back porch/hot tub from the other cabins. This property is close to Little River Canyon Falls. It is worth the drive, and the visitor's center is also very nice. We enjoyed a lunch at Rim of the Canyon Cafe, an absolutely no frills, but totally nostalgic and great food choice!

The cabin and area it is in are beautiful. I would recommend these cabins to anyone asking. The hot tubs are very clean and well taken care of. Their cleaning service does a real good, job the cabin was immaculate. The wife and i came to get away for a mini vacation and to relax and this cabin was just the place for it. Dont skip out on little river canyon park while you are here. Its 12 minutes down the road and has some amazing views without having to hike to them you drive right up to them. We will be back to this area again, and i will be using atlittleriver.com to book my stay.
