I used to love Hotel Effie under the previous ownership because the hotel used to offer special welcome cookies and whatnot. It felt for inviting, now it legit just feels like a business. I don’t like the fact that the rooms have no microwave which I feel like could be rather essential.

I wish I knew the employees name, but upon arrival, I inquired about their complimentary cookies. The lady said they’re almost ready and a few minutes later, as I was sitting down in the lounge area, she had boxed up some cookies for me. I was truly impressed. The restaurant there had amazing service and food. This was a great getaway to celebrate my birthday. The room was great and I’ll be returning to hotel Effie!! I stumbled across this place from a TikTok someone posted.
