This was a great experience. Staff was great and lots to do! The only thing that is disappointing is that they charge a resort fee, which is understandable. However, they also charge a parking fee which isn't cool since you are paying for the room and resort fee.

It was my fordt resort experience. I did not get one wink of sleep because the walls to the rooms are so thin. People were drinking at the pool all night. They were loud and drunk. The passageways to the rooms smelled of vomit ( maybe from the party the night before). The bars were closed most of the time. Parking was horrible. Anyone was parking there. I had to pay $200 for parking. I will stay at a regular hotel instead of paying outrageous resort prices.

I had only one lil issue and it was probably my fault for not informing the head desk,,, I'm disabled and it was difficult getting up and down the stairs at the island and was not aware there was no elevator otherwise wise I would have asked for ground floor I called before making reservations online and couldn't get any one

This place is a gem! Splurged for the beachfront roll and it was worth it for the views each day. It’s clearly an older hotel that’s undergone renovation, so some areas are still a work in progress. However, you can’t beat the location directly on the beach. Room and property were extremely clean, staff always pleasant to deal with! We loved it for our first time to the area, easy/cheap to Uber to Destin for dinner or Crab Island day trip. Walked next door as well for other shopping and dining options, but you wouldn’t have to leave the property if you didn’t want to. Plenty of onsite food and dining options that were reasonably priced… including the Grotto swim up bar!

The only negative is that our room overlooked the Cabana pool and at night people in the pool were hollering and screaming until around midnight, and some of us need to sleep. I know this would be hard to stop, and I’m guessing that maybe some alcohol could be a cause, anyway I doubt that I’ll be back but a nice place otherwise with a good staff.

While the room was great, the image of the beach here is false and deceiving. You have to rent umbrellas and chairs, the resort does not provide them to you. On top of that, if you didn't grab a chair by one of the pools soon enough, you would be out of luck. ALL the lounge chairs were snapped up quickly and it was loud (Music playing on speakers) and super crowded. Not relaxing at all. Lots of families and kids having a good time, but not me.

Images and descriptions on website are not transparent. Hotel caters to patrons who wish to ‘day-pass’ the hotel, meaning the patrons can purchase access to pool, hotel rooms, etc. for the day. For multi-day stay/weeklong vacationers, this provides us with limited parking in near lot, less access to pool chairs at pool area, and unexpected chaos. The venue is not a resort.

It was ok. The air conditioner was loud and it was blasting air out toward our bed. We overlooked it since we were on vacation. We like the Tiki bar and the entertainment they have each night. The singers did a great job. The best thing was the beach was right next to our hotel.

Loved the grotto pool. Food truck on site left much to be desired when it came to the chicken tacos I ordered. Pizza was great from the island grill however. Some things were clear when it came to pricing others were not. Overall the property was fantastic with great service everywhere.

not worth the cost. this should be half the price. worn out and ugly, paid for a resort and only used it to sleep because I couldn't afford to stay here. pool area is super crowded. there are plenty of options in downtown Destin for half the price that would be much better.
