Good value hotel for the budget conscious traveller. Note that there is no desk in your room so you'll need to find a cafe to do some decent work. Service delivery can be improved upon as it seems lacking in terms of their outsourced laundry service. The best part of the hotel is it's right in the middle of the city centre so everything is only a walk away with restaurants close by. There's more expensive hotels in its vicinity although the hotel does a good job.
There are well established small tours for Iguasu in Argentina. Me and my friend worried about transportation between hotel and Argentina, but hotel tour system offers us wonderful transportation. And the view of our room was wonderful.

Good Choice for Budget Travelers
Hotel is in quiet neighborhood area but close to everything. Bus stops to Iquazu Falls, Itaipu Dam, and Argentina are within two blocks. A good Chinese restaurant is just one block from the hotel. Breakfast was not fancy but I would say it was pretty good for the price of the room, especially their cakes. The condition of the hotel should need some maintenance but it was still quite comfortable. It should be a good choice for the budget travelers who want to see the Iquazu Falls on their own.
Rooms very basic. Hallways dark. Lobby not very nice. Breakfast was good, and eating area very nice. Although located in a nice enough part of town, it was quite a drive from the Falls. Would definitely find a hotel closer to the falls next time. Front desk staff was helpful in calling taxis & storing luggage for us.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Our room included a buffet breakfast. The small room was adequate especially considering the low price. We had trouble with the electric heater in the shower & ended up taking a cold shower. The bathroom had very limited space for toiletry items. The air conditioning unit was difficult to control with the remote. The room key was attached to a plastic unit that we had to insert to activate the electricity. We later figured out how to separate the room key from the electric activator & left the air conditioning running while away. The room had a color television with one station (Warner Brothers) that broadcasted American programs with Portuguese subtitles. The hall ceiling lights halls in the hotel are motion activated. The location of the hotel on the main street was excellent. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly. We found a nearby travel agency (Point tur, Av. Juscelino Kubitschek, 428 Centro). We arranged for someone to take us on one day to the Argentinian side of Iguassu Falls & the next day to the Brazilian side. Since it was our last day, the travel agency let us leave our baggage in the car, & the driver (Ariel) picked us up at the falls & took us directly to the airport. The whole arrangement was extremely convenient. The driver drove very carefully & was pleasant to talk to.

Convenient location in town
Convenient location in Centro. Bus depot nearby makes getting around easy. Clean hotel, keep in mind no pool etc. Carina is a great asset to the staff. Basic no frills hotel, but breakfast is available. Hot water in the shower only in the room we had, so hot, then cold as electric heater at shower head.
Taxis are expensive in this town to what you might expect. Lots of inexpensive eateries nearby.

Bed Bugs?
I reserved two rooms for my friends and I. The couple staying in one room found bed bugs and checked out of hotel that night. Myself and two friends staying on a different floor did a full sweep of our room and did not find any bugs. Actually the room was very clean. We decided to stay and never had bites or issues regarding bugs. However, I tried to get a refund on the room my friends stayed in and they said it was not possible. Poor customer service. Had there not been issues with possible bugs I would say this is a great place to stay. Breakfast was yummy and location was good.
I thought the rooms were really small. The air conditioner was above your head and blew on you all night. The staff tried to be very helpful. They use google translate so you can type in your questions and they could type back to you. This was very helpful. Shell station across the street was great for snacks etc. Very old. DId have hot water in the shower. NONE at the sink. You can get by here if you are busy with tours to the falls and not staying long. ASk for hair dryer to get to use one.

Reasonable stay in Iguazu
Nice Location In middle of Down Town
Nice Breakfast
Stayed at this hotel, basic room but when somewhere so beautiful you don't want to spend time in a bedroom.
Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel clean, excellent positioning for restaurants, shops and bus station.......breakfast excellent
