Wow, two buildings next to Frankfurt's XMAS Market. Half block from an ALDI and "Cafe Mozart" (great location, try their breakfast, is just great)! Behind the hotel their is a TRAM station, for 7 euros you can travel all day around Frankfurt. for 4 euros you get to the main train station (Frankfurt Hbf or the Airport). From there, a day trip to Wiesbaden, Mainz o r just go to Cologne, Nuremberg or even Strasburg, France. I'm from Puerto Rico, was nervous on taking a train; is easy, just check a couple of videos on YOUTUBE, and DONE, you're a semi-expert (be timely). Love the location and the bed was great!!

The price is based on the excellent Location to the Christmas Market in Frankfort. A good place to sleep. The room is small. The bathroom is small. The shower simply isn’t big enough for a 6.2ft person like myself. It’s a “tube” shower. The buffet is adequate but not worth the price paid per person. Mainly, since we had 8 times the buffet the Dorint Kongress hotel for several nights before. It was good since it served our main purpose for spending 2 days at the Christmas Market.

Room is tiny - good for 1 person, or 2 if athletic as 1 side of the bed is against the wall with a wardrobe at its end so you have to climb over whoever you are with. Bathroom door and frame lowers are rotting away do to poor (read none I could see anyway) shower door seals flooding the floor, so you end with half the towels as the rest used to dry the floor. Breakfast, bed quality, location and price are the only good points, plus TV allows screen sharing from your mobile

Rooms are small but spotless. The breakfast was really nice. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is the perfect location for all the Christmas Markets. You are just 1 block from walking into the Christmas Market. Then since there are numerous markets, you are about 5 to 6 blocks from them.

I booked a 2-person room via Hotels.com for a trip to meet some friends. But upon arrival the receptionist at the hotel told me that because I have a 2-person room, I must pay the City Tax for two persons, although I was traveling alone. I tried to convince him that I only booked a 2-person room because the 1-person rooms seemed incredibly small and the price difference was very small, but the intent was always to travel alone. But he insisted that I have to pay for two persons, even if I was by myself.(not consistent with the rule for City Tax, which is per person and not per room type). He told me that I can send an email to the hotel management, which I did right away. But no response. I sent two more emails later, but no responses. I did get responses in the Hotels.com app to send the emails, but like I said, no one responded in over a week to my three emails to the address given. Not huge money but principle is wrong.
