Staff was very nice and the room was pretty big.Sometimes the water in the bathroom wouldnā€™t get warm even after waiting 10 minutes. There was construction right in front of the hotel and it started early in the morning around 6am every weekday. Other than that it was nice

Room was equivalent to a sauna with no AC. The bathroom absolutely stank and was possibly the reason for the sauna-esque climate. Unreal. Even after running the cold tap for 5 minutes the water was still in the hot side of warm. God knows how they managed this feat of plumbing. The windows joining the fire escape stairwell outside room wouldnā€™t lock properly so it was possible to just push the windows open into the room. Perfect for anyone sealing the local sauna. The local taxi drivers appear to be made welcome to use the tables at the front of the hotel to congregate, drink and smoke. Letā€™s just stay Iā€™ve stayed in better hotels.

The stay was pleasant and in fact we extended a second night. Great location in center of Bad Soden with walking distance to everything. Very helpful front desk staff who checked us in. Train station in front. The room was small and difficult to move around but we did not spend much time in it other than sleeping.

Perfect location
Very closed to the downtown, easy to find restaurants and stores. Receptionists sweet and warmly welcomed us. The high ceiling room was cozy and clean but bathroom needs renovation.(Especially Bathtub was old and no drain stopper, useless at all) No AC in a room.

Clean hotel in a top notch location
Clean hotel in a top notch location. Few steps to the Bad Soden Am Tanus train station which has a direct train to Frankfurt main station. The continental breakfast was very good as well. Only issue I had was that the wifi connection wasn't very fast for streaming, but ok to do basic browsing, etc.

No frills hotel in Bad Soden.
The staff was nice and friendly when we arrived. We got a small room with a clean bathroom. It was only for one night, so as long as it is clean, I can manage to stay everywhere. What was not so great: for two people the room was very small, so you had to open the window to get enough oxygen. But because it was winter you couldn't leave the window open constantly. So it was either very warm and airless or cold. And the double bed was right next to the wall, so not very comfortable for the person on the side of wall. For one person the room would have probably been fine. We didn't habe breakfast, so I can't say anything about that. Very close to the S-Bahn station.

Good hotel - good value
The hotel is very convenient to the train station. In fact that was one of the surprises. The website showed the wonderful front aspect but failed to show that it was in a cul-de-sac facing the station. There was upkeep work in progress on the outside but inside was pristine.

There is no air conditioning and the location is directly in front of the bus station, taxi pick up, and a huge parking garage, which created an incredibly loud environment. I did not sleep all night. I moved to another hotel and they refused to give me a refund!

Where history is alive
this hotel is quite small. Dating back to 18xx, it is more kind of mansion size and got recently renovated and refurbished. The romantic old style is very well maintained, feels a bit like a time warp when walking in. Single rooms are fairly small, do not offer a work desk and the WiFi sometimes work better, sometimes less. However - the landlord is very accommodating. The restaurant is cozy, offers a nice choice of "not-so-standard-food", is creative, fresh and tasty. The aged spirit of the house seems to have influenced the serviceĀ“s speed a bit ... The hotel is very close to the hot springs. Only suggestion for improvement: The smell of sewage/mold in the bathroom was quite strong. Did mention at check out and he they are working on it. Once fixed this hotel turns from a should visit into a marvelous, individual place one needs to visit.
