Scandic Frankfurt Museumsuf Hotel Is a Good Choice
My second stay at a Scandic hotel (first was in Berlin). Very modern facilities with nice amenities. Scandic Frankfurt is only a 6 minute walk from the bahn hof and also a short walk across a bridge over the Main River to the Städel Museum, one of Germany’s finest art museums.

We loved our room. However it was extremely hot in room even with temps in 4C and window open. Hallway felt like a sauna. Breakfast buffet was fabulous with lots of bio food.

Comfortable Stay
We arrived early and was allowed to check in early which was great as we just got in on a long haul flight. Hotel is in a great location; walking distance to museums and the old town. Room is good sized, warm and bed is comfortable. Only point that needed improvement was the bathroom - water pressure fairly low and too sensitive; just a very slight push in either direction resulted in either very hot or very cold water.

Good location for what we wanted. It wasn’t clear how to organize for housekeeping. Pity that they can’t furnish bottles of drinking water daily. Breakfast excellent!

The refrigerator did not work, it would have been nice to have a nespresso in the room instead of just a kettle and instant coffee. The windows do not open very much. The room would get very warm at night without the heat on and the nearby road was noisy.

Good price, nice area
This is a basic hotel. The price was good for the area. It's about a 7 min walk from the train station and one block from the river. It's also an easy walk to Romer (tourist) area. Frankfurt Central train station is a bit of a rough area. This hotel is far enough away, while still convenient to it. We had a basic room, perfectly acceptable and very clean. And the price was quite good. We will definitely consider staying there again.

We had a high up city view room. Space enough for two. Gym is very well equipped, but no sauna which is strange for a Scandic hotel. Great location, very close (but not too close) to train station. We walked all over as you are a block away from river and close to the old town with its shops and markets as well as bridges that take you over to all the galleries and museums. The best thing about our stay was the great staff. Front desk always polite and friendly. Gabriel and Claudia in the bar made our last evening so much fun. Thank you!
