We have always loved to stay at this Residence Inn. However this time (over Christmas ) we were disappointed :- - No room service (bed done, cleaning, etc). - The flow control in the shower got stuck ("that sometimes happens") and the water could not be turned off completely. There was no Maintenance on that day and so we couldn't have any showers during our 2 day stay. I manipulated the temperature control to at least loose cold water and save the hot. - The booking ap should also state that there will be parking fee each day. - The $60 ($20 +$40) "deposit ", (refunded within a week) is more of an irritant than real security, as the credit card is on record ( relied on by other hotel chains).

Front desk needs to know answers when guest ask. Never informed guest that there was a $7 day charge for cars. I’ll pay that when I’m in the city but in the country that’s crazy. Not every one likes dark roast coffee. Better selection.

The hotel was in a great location for us during the holidays. Just a minute or 2 from Rt 495, it was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard but we had what we needed. We were pleased with our suite with a full kitchen, large bathroom and 2 TVs. Only surprise was that the rooms were not cleaned between our first and second night there. Maybe because it was Xmas Day? It was fine, it just surprised us.

Great location! Easy access to the T for trips into Boston. Franklin is a beautiful New England town--really enjoyed visiting all the shops. The entire staff at the Residence Inn were pleasant, helpful and professional--noticeably so---which was much appreciated.

Everything was good except for the mold in the bathroom. It wasn't overwhelming but it could use some TLC. Mold is not good & if not taken care of could be hazardous to ppl staying there. Other than that, the staff & room were great!!
