Enter the warm, inviting living room with knotty pine walls and white oak floors which has plenty of seating to enjoy the big screen tv.
The dining room has seating for 6 and leads out to a large deck with a gas grill; deck overlooks the waterfall and creek that runs through the expansive meadow. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening while stargazing and listening to the sound of frogs as you sit by the creek.
The spacious kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar has all the amenities (listed) you will need for your stay. A window wall looks out to the deck and meadow. There are gliding windows for a pass through to the outdoor dining table.
The vaulted master bedroom (king bed) has a private full bath with separate shower and a jacuzzi tub. It is attached by double garden doors that open into a sunroom which connects to the dining deck. It also has seating with a big screen tv and window seat.
A guest room (queen bed) on the main level is adjacent to a full bath & shower (deep soaking tub).
The upstairs guest room (double bed) has windows with an elevated view and sound of the waterfall.
Private studio apartment across deck above garage(queen bed) with bath and shower. Space includes a sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and bistro table for two.

Cute place!
Sweet house! This has just about anything you could think of and a well stocked cooking kitchen. The back deck was a perfect hangout under the canopy of trees with the little waterfall sounds. Owners were quick to respond to any questions and there is a book telling house to use everything too. Would stay again!

Great Mother’s Day
Our stay at this location could not have been more perfect. The house was very comfortable. We celebrated our 98 year old mother who was in a wheelchair. We had no problems navigating her around the area. There is also a very spacious, comfortable studio. The deck on the back side of the house was big enough for all our family to sit and visit. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. I would recommend this house for an enjoyable vacation.

Our Adult family members all got together to celebrate Christmas together a little late. The kitchen itself is amazing and we had a good time cooking together. The bedrooms were set up so that we each had nice private areas, but also large gathering spaces. We really enjoyed our time together!

We spent four nights at this VRBO which is very convenient to downtown Franklin. We had six adults, an aunt and two nieces plus husbands. These owners really know how to run a VRBO. Spacious home with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for 6 people (plus another bed). Checking in and out were both very simple. These owners have thought of everything you might want and have provided it. Highly recommend that you spend some time at this VRBO. Couples were from Hickory, NC, Concord, NC & N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

This is our 3rd visit to this beautiful home and property. It is surrounded by beautiful trees that were in full color. The home is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. The property is just breathtaking with several outdoor spaces to enjoy. I hope we are able to visit again.

The house was easy to get to and close to lots of great places. Very spacious master bedroom. Kitchen was immaculate and had anything we needed and then some. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed the back yard with the little brook running through it. Wish we had more time to spend here.

Our visit to 1660 was everything we needed and more. The home was meticulously cared for and perfect for our family. My parents enjoyed having their own space in the studio. Both the kids loved the basketball, volleyball and corn hole. The location of this home is very close to downtown Franklin while also close to trails and other adventurous activities. The hosts of this home are extremely responsive, informative and accommodating! Could not speak higher of them! Thank you for a lovely NC mountain getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was a dream to prepare meals and we enjoyed the variety of space on the property. It rained a lot while there so we were unable to really enjoy the outside but took advantage of the game cabinet. Communication was excellent and location was perfect. We hope to stay again.

This is a beautiful home and property located just outside of town. Very convenient to all surrounding areas. The amenities and rooms were as described, Plenty of room for families to enjoy. Loved preparing meals in the large kitchen. Wrap around deck with dinning table and sitting areas. I hope to visit again.

House was great
This is a great property for 2-3 couples. Bedrooms are separated and separate baths are available for each. Studio over garage is awesome and private. I highly recommend this home. We stayed for a week and did some exploring around the area. So many neat towns with shops, dining, and breweries within an hours drive. Franklin itself has everything you need. House was more than we expected and had all the things you would need for cooking. We cooked breakfast in every day.

Perfect for a family vacation !
We really enjoyed staying at Tevor and Joanna’s property. Every detail was taken care of, from reservation time to checkout. Property was spotless, well maintained and the location is very convenient. The access is motorcycle friendly with private driveway. We will definitely consider coming back for more !
