This place is great, its clean super spacious nice breakcfast and staff. good blacony lake near is amazing highway to Munich was super easy to get into city from.

Be sure and read the special instructions to check in, desk not always staffed, but location off the highway is good. Disappointed the beer garden and restaurant weren't open, but room was perfect!

Friendly and warm reception, breakfast include which was typically German affair. Would definitely stay here again. Only a fridge in room would be handy as would tes or coffee making facilities.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and good, hearty restaurant food. A short drive through gentle countryside to the lake at Chiemsee, so convenient for visiting the Herreninsel Palace of Ludwig II.

The property was immaculate. The bathroom was nicely updated. Our room was large and very comfortable. The included breakfast was very good with many choices. We had dinner there as well - also excellent.

Traditional family-run hotel
The hotel was perfect with friendly and attentive staff. Although few of the staff spoke English and our German is embarrassingly poor, we managed to understand each other! It is a hotel in the traditional style, decor-wise, but our room had a very modern and impressive bathroom. Our room was very large and easy to warm up with the radiator as the night got cold. We had a choice of a la carte or a buffet meal in the evening, both reasonably priced and excellent quality. The inclusive breakfast was superb with a lot of choice. The location is quiet and restful and we would definitely consider staying here again and using it as a base for visiting the local area.

Excellent bed and breakfast in cute location!
Cute bed and breakfast in an idyllic spot in southern Bavaria. Room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was simple and satisfying. Hotel is located in a beautiful little village and 15 minute drive from Chiemsee. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Great location, great staff
Stayed here due to location. Even better was the staff and the food. Easy drive to train station in Prien to get to Munich for Octoberfest. Sunday brunch was absolutely the best brunch I've ever had. The breakfasts every other day was simply on a smaller scale, same great food. Staff was very helpful and friendly without being pushy. Laundry facilities in Rosenheim. Couldn't ask for better

Guesthouse near Chiemsee
Check in was easy, staff polite and informative. Had a comfortable triple room which was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast included. We ate in the restaurant that evening and enjoyed typical local fare.

Goldener Pflug during Oktoberfest 2015
The Goldener Pflug is a wonderful, clean, and affordable lodging option during Oktoberfest. About an hour outside of Munich, there is good train service to the Umrathshausen Ort stop or stop in Prien am Chemsee and take a taxi (18 €). There is a restaurant on site and a nice breakfast is included with the room.

Countryside comfort
This hotel is in the countryside not far from the major attraction of Herrenchiemsee. The vistas are beautiful, the hotel restaurant and the breakfast are good (there are no others within walking distance). The rooms are large and modern.

Hotel was a bit further from the lake area than we had hoped but was very nice and clean. Restaurant served excellent German food and had a good selection of beer and wine.
