Very pleasant place to stay. Fun to see the deer and sheep! Horrible toilet paper! Drain area in the shower was very slick. As a 69 year old it was scary. Even my two adult daughters were concerned. I was appreciative of the water and coffee provided. We're not juice drinkers but that was nice!

This place was a little peice of Heaven on earth. It’s quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife to watch. The hot tub was perfect, the be was comfortable, and the cottage was spacious.

Okay so the pictures of this property was a mix of all the properties out there. The listing said it came with a king bed and a queen bed, however the queen turned out to be a pull out couch which is massively different in aspect of comfort as well as convience. The breakfast that it said was offered was legit just small bags of cereal. The shower drain was made too steep and made it quite slippery when taking a shower. Place was nice but not quite what we expected from the listing.

This was our first stay here and hopefully will be our place to stay whenever we visit Fredericksburg. The view was wonderful and the deer made it even better. Breakfast is furnished but bring your own milk. Also there is no TV in the cottage. Other then that we really enjoyed it.

Peaceful Retreat
The cabin was very clean. It was spacious. It is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. The owner was very nice and quick to respond.

This is our favorite retreat location and our favorite place to stay in Fredericksburg. Close enough to wineries, Nimitz museum, great food and drink, but at night quiet and peaceful with “stars at night are big and bright”. Ahhh, peace.

We went on a family trip for my husband's birthday, we were traveling with a 9 yr old and a 17 yr old. We were never told even after them knowing we had kids and their ages, that there was no wifi or tv's for the kids to be entertained at night time. If we had known this upfront, we might not have booked with them or at least would have told our kids to bring things to keep them entertained. We will not be staying there again.
