Great little place
Went for a little weekend getaway and this place didn't disappoint. It was cute, clean, close to everything and you can tell the place has a long history of satisfied travelers by looking at the guest log books. I highly recommend.

Charming cottage
Charming, tiny cottage. Great location near Main Street. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Shower is very narrow, but fine for smaller people. There is a lot of traffic on road next to house and the traffic noise can be heard clearly in bedroom.

Small, but overall a great stay!
This little cottage is tiny, but it's on top of a hill with a huge oak tree and looks like it belongs in a story book. Comfortable and very cozy.

Came to stay in The Burg with my sister for one night. We hiked Enchanted Rock and rode our bicycle in the residential neighborhoods close to the house. Walked to dinner and had a wonderful time! Thank you for a place to call home for a night and rest our weary bodies!

A very quaint weekend cottage. Conveniently located, in a quiet neighborhood. Really enjoyed just spending time on the porch. The amenities were nice and especially enjoyed the stereoscope; looked at all the photos!

Fine for a one night stay
House is very cute and well kept, but very small. Shower is the size of an RV shower and the bathroom door has trouble staying shut. The outside traffic is quite audible inside the house. It was fine for our one night stay for a place to sleep.

Pint-Sized Perfection!
The cottage proved to be a comfortably cozy "small space" for my wife and I. All we required was a cozy bed , a bathroom , and a coffee maker to enjoy coffee in the morning . Someone commented on the size of the shower. Yes it's small, but I'm 6'1" and still managed to navigate the small space with no problem. All we needed was a place to sleep after spending the day out visiting tasting rooms and vineyards. Totally enjoyed our time there!

Cozy House
The house was a perfect match of old world charm of a vintage home. The only thing was the traffic of the main street out front. If you are a lightsleeper, this property may not work for you. My wife and I loved the coziness of the home. The location of the home is within two blocks of main street town town Fredericksburg. It's an experience we will keep in our memories.

Quaint, Little Staycation Sanctuary
On a whim we decided to drive down for a couple of days to Fredericksburg for my spring break. It was easy to book and communicate with the managing group. The little Oak House was like stepping back in time, yet all of the modern conveniences. The bed was super comfy and made it hard to leave and get ready for the day. We took advantage of the porch and the quiet neighborhood both nights while partaking of some local grape goodness. We saw deer in the yard and crossing the street both nights. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely like to stay there again.

Staying at this property was really a good experience. It is close to the main attractions in the city, and the property is very cozy and authentic. The traffic noise can be a little distracting, especially at night.

Nice getaway
Overall the stay was good. In the future I would move further into town to be that much closer to the restaurants and bars. But at this price point I think the cottage was just right. Be prepared for road noise as the property sits in the corner of a 4-way stop so there can be noise. We brought our own box fan which drowned out the noise just fine. Only complaint about the property itself is the shower...it’s very small. The shower head is dated and only has 1 setting which is high pressure which has its challenges in such a small space. But overall for this price it’s a good place to stay.

Super cute! Close to Main Street
The house is tiny but super cute! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved that it was only 2 blocks away from Main Street so we didn't have to drive. The house faces a well traveled street, even at night, so if you're a light sleeper then I would suggest bringing ear plugs (I never travel anywhere without them). We loved sitting on the front porch and drinking our morning coffee before heading out for the day. I would stay here again!
