We are exactly where you want to be far enough to enjoy the amazing views of the hill Country but close enough to Fredericksburg to enjoy the town. We are located on a 45-acre property. We offer a cute barn style cottage featuring countryside views from the porch, a kitchenette, a dining area, living area, bedroom, a full bathroom and upstairs loft with a half bath, and we also offer a hot tub for you to enjoy. Each room in the cottage is decorated beautifully with fine art and furnishings. Fredericksburg has great restaurants, shopping and winery tours.

The house was clean. There were plenty of beds. The only downside with this house it that you have to go outside and climb the stairs to access the upstairs bedroom. It was just inconvenient and a bit dangerous when trying to go to bed at night.

It should be very clear in the desription that the loft / 2nd bedroom is only accessible from outside. Other than that, the place worked out very well for us.

The place was cozy and the scenery was great. We slept comfortably. The only inconvenience we had was that we had to go outside to get upstairs to the other room. There were cobwebs in the upstairs restroom and the trash was full underneath the sink in the kitchen. But other than that we enjoyed our time there!

Cute Cabin
Cabin was clean and had everything we needed while visiting. The location is great, not too far from Enchanted Rock, close to Fredericksburg. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the fresh air. We will definitely be back.

The perfect escape
Diane is quick to respond to questions and the house was perfect for a quick get away. Location is perfect for visiting Stonewall and Fredericksburg. Exploring the back roads will lead you to some pretty amazing wineries and gorgeous sights of the hill country. One quick thing. If you travel with furry friends, bring a comb to brush off the little burs. You'll thank me later. Lol.

This adorable little house was precisely what we needed for a long overdue weekend to catch up! Whether it was on the porch, at the kitchen table, sitting in the living room, or chatting from the loft to the kitchen…it was simply the right amount of “cozy comfort”! Great Place!
We had a blast at this little cottage. It was the perfect distance from Fredericksburg to be convenient, but away from the hustle & bustle. The bathroom upstairs was a little tight, and we wished there had been lights on at the property (we got in late to check-in) and it was a little difficult to find. Other than that it was awesome, and we have already talked about coming back!

Nice place and property to walk. Would have like to have more cooking options since we stayed over a month. Very accommodating in getting a larger refrigerator and getting a gas grill for us as well as pots and pans. Loved the location and appreciated everything the property manager helped us with.

Wonderful Retreat!
Overall, we had a great time on the property. It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view from our master bedroom. Our only real concern with the home was the safety of the stairs that lead to the loft. We knew they would only be accessible from outside so that was fine but we couldnt let our youngest go near them since she could fall right over due to no safety slats. Large open gaps that any person could fall from, even adults. So i wouldnt recommend for the elderly as well. Our older boys werent as much of an issue. Every one of our older kids got multiple splinters from the rails though. Thankfully we had tweezers! So, again, the place is perfect, maybe not for young kids or any one not stable on their feet but it can fit a range of groups if you are okay with the stair situation.

This Worked For Our Family
This was just as described. We have 2 teens and a 9 year old. The teens enjoyed being upstairs in the loft by themselves. There is a seperate stairway/access outside and I wasn't worried about them being alone or falling down the stairs. My youngest enjoyed having the full size pull out couch to himself in the living room. We used the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings and both were great!! It was just 5 minutes to town so we parked and went shopping and had dinner. A nice place to relax as a family!
