Our cottage Castaways is a bit rustic but have all the basic things and is comfortable. They had some issues with water supply due to island wide outage, but it was fixed within a day. The beach is very beautiful, easy access and you can snorkel for hours right at the beach, lots of tropical fish, sea turtles. Our cottage was toward the back of the property, so very quiet. Just 50 feet walk from the beach. Some of the beach front cottages were a bit noisy but generally very quiet after 10pm. All personnel and guest we met were very friendly, pleasant.

Cottages’ location is superb! It’s saying a lot when locals come and use the the beaches on this side of the island. I love the quaint property and its charm. Opening your door and walking 10 steps to a beyond gorgeous beach is literal heaven…. (From a beach lover) I will most definitely be back to this slice of paradise.

Excellent stay! room was quiet and clean and has great beach access! After being on other beaches in St Croix this one is right at the top. Air conditioning was great but when you want to turn it off, the windows open to hear the surf.

Cottages was everything and so much more! I did a good amount of research and knew I wanted to stay in Frederiksted when looking at available places. Cottages came out above the rest. First it's on the water, you can wake up, and walk right into the water whenever you choose. And, please don't downplay the beach... this is the Caribbean sea, not any regular beach. Serene waters, calm and salty so you float easily, plus cottages have a plethora of floats and beach toys to use. To enhance the experience there's rocky areas where you'll see loads of small fish. This was especially fun for the kids to follow around the fish with their snorkel gear. We stayed in the chart house, which slept 5, and it was great for our family. It's not just a hotel room, it's great for big families like mine, since it's always a challenge to get a room that can fit all of us comfortably. The cottage has a full kitchen: full size fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans & dishes. I knew I wanted to find some local fisherman to score some fish and this kitchen was so useful for all meals. The location is great as its a short drive from just about all the restaurants in the area. It's also close to excursions like jet ski & off roading. We had an absolute blast, and I was near tears on our last day. Thank you Cottages for allowing us to experience the beauty of your island through the hospitality of the Cottages. Many memories were made here that we won't soon forget!

This is a great place to stay on a family vacation. The property is literally on the beach. You can access the beach at anytime. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, especially Kate and Kishma. The units have a kitchen which is a definite plus. I would recommend staying here and will definitely be returning.
