Thank you for your review. I understand that our apartment did not meet your expectations. It is our family retreat which we share with guests. We do not claim that it is a business and matches highest hotel standards. Our apartment is well furnished and has everything a guest can expect to find in a home. It is in a beautiful location and has wonderful views. It has two full washrooms which are very useful when couples or families visit. It has all the amenities and appliances guests need. It doesnt have upscale modern renovation which you may see in magazines or some newly renovated units. We always provide excellent service and respond to all questions and requests promptly.

Don't reserve this property

Main door entrance clearly water damaged & coming loose from hinges. Living & bedroom furniture shabby-uncomfortable. The unit is dated in need of maintenance. In general totally uninviting. Ceiling fans filthy with dust & one hanging by a thread unusable. VRBO obviously doesn't vet owners for quality rentals - leaves it for reviews So... Kitchen under equipped with aged chipped dishes, rusty pots,filthy oven, no oven mitts, no dishcloths or adequate towels of any kind. Fridge door full of rust. Thankfully we had access to other family member rental to borrow their kettle. You guessed it Coffee maker/kettle YUK!

Dear Mary, thank you very much for your honest opinion! I just had the other guest tell me about similar issues. I am extremely upset and I sincerely regret that you had to go through this situation and that it has not been addressed by my property manager and cleaning lady. It doesn't help of course that I am not in Freeport to go right away and have everything fixed and changed, however I shall speak to my daughter who is planning to go end of April and she will help to take care of the issues. Again my sincerest apologies!

Coral Beach

Our expectations for the unit we selected were not what we had had in the past. The owner did address some of the things but not all were resolved. This unit is not set up for a long stay as many of the others are. The location is great and the beach beautiful. Lots interaction among guests and owners.

Dear Katherine, I was very happy to be your host! Thank you for your stay and your feedback! I apologize that some of the issues during your stay were not resolved. Your daughter was looking for a baby crib during her visit with you and unfortunately I could not obtain it for the dates she was staying :((( The balcony door locks are on back order, and we are waiting for them. We also provide cleaning supplies and a few basic pantry supplies enough for initial couple of days, the guests staying long term would need to purchase what they will need and want to use. My property manager Mario is happy to help out and take guests shopping or other errands and trips for a modest fee and our guests have been using his services multiple times and I always had a very positive feedback. There is also now a convenience store open at Coral Beach which is very handy! There may be some things which need to be addressing upon arrival or questions and requests, and please do not hesitate to contact me! Mario and Helen are very quick to respond and will be there same day or next day if anything needs to be purchased. Again thank you for being our guest and we do hope to see you back!

Adequate facilities

The kitchen wasn't as well appointed as it could have been. I brought my own sharp knives and was glad I did. There is no broiler pan, no sheet pan and the 2 left hand burners on the stove don't work. The beach was lovely. The location is good and the unit was nice. Plenty of towels. The laundry tokens cost $2 each, not $1.60 as told.

Great Location

Quick walk to a beautiful beach w/restaurant on the beach. The hotel staff, including security, were incredibly kind and helpful. The unit itself is quite basic with almost no amenities, not even a hair dryer, just enough toilet paper to last the evening, no coffee filters, no shampoo. So if you are aware that you need to provide everything for yourselves, it's a convenient location. When we arrived, however, we found that we had been given an incorrect code for the lock box so had to get the property manager to help us. Also, the t.v. wouldn't turn on. Seems likely the batteries in the remote were dead. The host, Svetlana, was very nice and very responsive. However, given the trouble getting in and the fact we couldn't use the t.v., it would have been good business practice to offer us some compensation.

We had a great time

First of all... The beach was stunning. And the luxury of being able to walk from our unit to the beach in bare feet was incredible. The pool was beautiful but a bit colder than the ocean... But who cares because we had the ocean? The new bar at Coral Beach had great stuff and great food and we had a chance to meet many of the different unit owners who were all very welcoming. The unit itself was a bit dated but extremely clean and had every single thing we could want. The price was reasonable. The owner, Svetlana was incredibly quick at responding to any questions that I had both before the trip and while we were there. I traveled with a friend but would feel completely safe traveling back to Freeport and especially Coral Beach as a single female traveler... Not one concern about safety.... What a wonderful place to visit and what wonderful people who live and work there. Also.... Make sure when you visit that you take the time to visit both the GaatroBar restaurant $$$ at the marketplace and Bernie's $ on Taino Beach. Delicious grilled lobster with sides for $25 and $5 Bahama Mama's At the owner's recommendation we rented our car from Brad's Car Rental. They were super professional and took wonderful care of us. I had zero expectations for this trip and was blown away. Thank you for a great vacation.

The owner was amazing, accommodating and very helpful. The unit is good for 4-5pax really, clean,tidy and the beds are very comfortable to sleep with. There’s a pool and beach area that you can access easily. Very great view for balcony to watch sunset, garden view and if you want to have breakfast outside. It would be very nice as well if they can add some light in the dining area during night time and to make sure to fix the stove. Overall, we love the condo and my parents are so happy that we’re able to celebrate my day together in the unit.

Vacation

Excellent location property was ideal for our vacation Host Svetlana was so helpful and helped us in many ways We certainly will return hopefully next year
