Check in policy is not accurately reflected on hotels.com website (states you can check in until midnight) but really it’s only until 10pm. I am glad they called to ask us when we were checking in and I asked since we were at a party, but made sure to check in before 10. Upon arrival to the check in counter, there was an overwhelmingly strong scent of spices. Also make sure that if you’re staying in more than 1 room, that the other person the name is under also has their ID or you won’t be able to check in. When we arrived to our room, there was a strong musty scent, as if a bunch of wet towels sat there. This smell came from the bathroom, and clearly the shower curtain had not been washed in a while. The tub/walls were clean but I made sure not to touch the curtain because it had a lot of dirty marks and mildew. Not sure how they don’t smell this when cleaning the rooms & didn’t think to switch it for a new one. The pillow had some dirty marks on it. The chair in our room looked like it flew out of someone’s car on the freeway, then rolled its way back to our room as it was badly scuffed and torn apart. It would have been better if they just took it out completely. AC was also weak. TV had ads for adult entertainment- inappropriate for our 10 y/o niece who was with us. Towels very thin & old. Pros were there were no issues with parking and the lot was well-lit, the guy who checked us in was nice, & fridge was cold. Definitely would NOT recommend staying here.
