It's a charming older property with small local museum rooms in the basement. We had dinner and drinks in their restaurant which had upscale offerings incliding vegan. For breakfast there were 3 small restaurants and cafe just steps from front door. Take some time to enjoy the front shared balconies - so relaxing.

Friendly, but dated
If you want to stay in a vintage hotel and experience what travel was like in past decades, this is for you. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person, but the check in process was a little unconventional. Once I went back and carefully read the text they sent, it all worked out. Finding the way through the hotel (and museum) from the parking lot to the main lobby was a bit of an adventure as well. The entire facility definitely shows its age but retains a great deal of charm. The room was clean and comfortable, although somewhat small by modern standards. The live music and food at the on site restaurant, the Toasted Goat, was outstanding, and the view of the mountains beyond the town made for a memorable dining experience.

Fun, historic hotel in downtown Frostburg
Had a great stay at this hotel in Frostburg. Friendly desk staff, visited the bar/restaurant in the lobby, lots and lots of historic charm throughout the building. Our room was basic, clean and very reasonably priced. Will stay here again!

We liked the look of the lobby area, restaurant and speakeasy, we knew the building was old which is part of the charm we wanted. The staff was wonderful, very nice and accommodating. But, the building could use some upgrades. All carpets definitely need to be replaced, very stained. The room had no chairs, chairs would have been nice. The bed was very hard and not comfortable for us. As soon as you open the room door you smell something unpleasant, not sure if it's old carpet, delousing cleaner or what. The TV service was terrible, pixelating all the time. It was only used for night time wind down but not enjoyable. All in all I don't think we will stay again but if we're in the area we may visit the restaurant and/or speakeasy.

Old but ok
First of all the walk was endless as it seemed, coming in the back from the parking lot then through a long uphill ascent to the elevator which was hard to find at first, then the elevator which is in desperate need of updating made it to the third floor, then a descent down a long ramp type floor down a long way to our room at the end of the hall, the bathroom was in need of updating too, there was only a couple plug’s available, bring a power strip if you have e-bikes and helmets that need charging, the bed was huge and comfortable, the tv was ok, we ate at the toasted goat which is attached to the hotel, the food was good, we were waited on quickly, we recommend it. If you like old style like hotel this will work for you.

The hotel has an amazing historic charm to it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds have memory foam matresses. They use high quality pillows that are not too soft or too hard. They are just right. Your staff are amazing, warm, welcoming, and inviting. Kylie was amazing checking me in. Alyssa made me an amazing latte and was awesome checking me out. This hotel is a real treasure and I wish I could have given you all more nights than what was provided. Your operation is first class all the way! Much thanks to Bundy 🙂 for keeping my room amazingly clean 🙂. Definitely will stay here again 😀
