I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was not only clean and spacious but also came with a fantastic bathtub, perfect for relaxing. They even offer a convenient shuttle bus service, making it easy to get around. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm welcome and a comfortable experience throughout. There’s also a public bathtub available, which was a nice added touch for unwinding. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and great service!
We enjoyed a 1 night relaxing stay - the staff are very polite and friendly. Our 3 bed room was spacious with balcony which had table and chairs, the lakeside view was great though the clouds hid Mount Fuji from view :(
Our bathtub had the same lovely view! The room had generous toiletries, tea, fresh coffee and pyjamas etc. The choice of breakfast options was good, it was aimed more at Asian than western visitors. The free evening wine and ice cream was a bonus! We didn’t try the public baths as the bath in the room was enough for us. We recommend this hotel for a break from city sightseeing!
Views of mt Fuji were awesome. Free wine from 1:00 to 7:00 pm added to our relaxation. In room hot tub with views of Fuji was amazing. Private baths were great. We tried two of them both were wonderful. Less than five minute drive to Lake karaguichi and we went out on a swan boat for more great views of Fuji. Great location and wonderful views.
We absolutely loved our 3 day stay at La Vista. The property is situated so you get a beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fugi( when weather is clear). Suggest staying a day or two to improve your chances of seeing the great Mt Fuji. It’s a fun Japanese style hotel with friendly staff and wonderful resort wear( pj, robes and loads of slippers) that you are encouraged to wear around the resort. The spa baths are great and when we were there in Oct, not crowded. They also have a shuttle that runs frequently to Kawaguchiko Station that was very helpful to get us to transportation to see the sights. Will be recommending to our friends.
We have a very good view of My Fuji from our room!

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Excellent hotel, a little out of the way, but the view of Mount Fuji more than made up for that. We had an amazing view from our balcony and the dining room.
We would have liked another pillow, as we only had one each.
Its a beautiful spot away from the hustle and bustle. Amazing views of the lake, surrounding areas and of course Mt Fuji!!!! Via our own private onsen and balcony. Breaksfast was great, you have to book dinner. Would definitely drive when we go back. They do however provide a free shuttles to and from Kawaguchiko Train stations.
Gorgeous! Great size room with an amazing view of Mount Fuji and a bath on the balcony (very private). The staff is absolutely lovely and they will do anything for you to have a memorable and incredible stay. They have so many freebies as well (juice, wine, snacks, ramen). There is a full amenity section as well in case you need anything. The only caveat (which they tell you in the confirmation email) is that there isn’t a lot around and the restaurants close early, they do offer dinner on site which you need to reserve ahead of time. We had a little walk around and went to Lawson to grab some snacks (which is 20 minutes away on foot).
The beautiful views, the staff was pleasant, and the breakfast was terrific. However, the parking area is a bit disappointing. I would still recommend this hotel for anyone wanted a peaceful, quiet stay with a sight of Fujisan.
Overall an excellent experience! The food to die for. We had half-board and really enjoyed the breakfast and kaiseki dinner. The free onsen, free snacks, daily wine tasting... We had it all. And of course, the breathtaking views of the Mt. Fuji right from our balcony.
Every member of the staff except one, was kind, polite and helpful. The manager declined to allow me to eat dinner because i had no reservation. There are no other restaurants nearby. And he said getting a cab would take awhile. I am a 62 year old person with back and hip issues. Instead of finding a solution he sent me down a very steep road to the 7-11 2 miles away. This is an expense resort and there was no explaintion that dining in the hotel was the only option. I was embarrassed and disrespected by only one person. Otherwise it would have been a lovely visit.
