Great experience
Superb customer service. I forgot my phone (!!) at another hotel in Tokyo. The front desk attendant promptly called the other property and arranged for it to be delivered express; all within 15 min of arrival to the hotel. Everyone at the desk is bilingual so anyone with basic English speaking skill could easily communicate with the staff. Conveniently located to train station. Some people may not be used to the smaller size of the hotel room but it’s comparable to eco hotels found in major us and European cities.

We loved the hotel it’s only a 5 min walk from Hiroshima station and is right by the river. The breakfast is lovely and the staff are very helpful.

Upon arrival, we were dissatisfied with the room we booked. The staff were phenomenal, they went above and beyond with helping us find a more suited room. Zhao was exceptional, she not only helped us with finding the perfect room, she made us feel like home! This became such a memorable moment for us and made us want to stay again at Hotel Hanshin upon our return to Osaka, Japan.

The hotel room was a little small, but that was expected. Closest station was under a 5 minute walk and the hotel was surrounded by great food options. Will be back next year, we had a great time here.

Pro - Great location next to train station. Negative- Close to train station. We were assinged a room on the 3rd floor which was parallel to the train tracks and our room felt the passing trains. We requested another room and at first were told this was the only thing they had. Once an English-speaking staff came forward, she put us on the top floor which made ALL the difference for a quite night's sleep. I must add also, this was the only hotel that I booked through Expedia (6 total) in Japan that charged me an additional tax once I arrived.

The hotel was located right next to a food alley with a lot of dining options in the evening and the hotel had buckwheat soba noodles for breakfast which are gluten free for travelers with allergies.
