Our house is located in the small, idyllic village of Furudals Bruk in Dalarna / Central Sweden. Secluded and yet central. Exactly the right thing for people who want to relax and enjoy nature from all sides - whether summer or winter - whether young or old.
The listed house stands on a 5000 square meter natural plot with its own lake access and was originally built about 100 years ago as a workers' accommodation.
Half of the house is used privately by us and the other half consists of a large holiday apartment with about 55 square meters. The property borders on the Oreälven, about 40 meters from the house, which flows into a dam and offers a large number of fish.
The apartment itself consists of a kitchen, bathroom, 1 living room and 1 bedroom and offers sleeping space for 4 people (+ a toddler). The kitchen is equipped with all kitchen utensils for daily use and if something is missing, we are at your disposal. In the living room you will find a TV with German and Swedish programs as well as a sofa bed.
Bed linen and towels are provided by us at no additional cost.
Terrace, as well as barbecue area and open fireplace under the starry sky.
A paradise for fishermen or simply for nature lovers. There are enough forests and bodies of water in the vicinity. Whether winter or summer, this place always offers something special. A golf course is even within walking distance and a cross-country magnifier is also available in Furudalen. A Norwegian Veterans Museum and an Agriculture Museum were built in the village itself. If you feel like spending a nice, quiet holiday with us, just get in touch. Who finds spelling mistakes may keep them!
