This is THE classic wilderness getaway--a cozy en suite (May 15 to September 20) log cabin in Alaska's mountain kingdom. Access the best of the Last Frontier's wide open solitude while still on the road system. This cabin has a comfortable hand-crafted queen-size log bed, soft new linens, well-equipped kitchen, fully plumbed bathroom (May 15 to September 20), and bird’s eye loft with double futon and mountain views. From one of the most exclusive locations INSIDE Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve, the cabin is just a few minutes' walk to scenic, secluded mountain lakes and hilltop vistas with exceptional wildlife viewing, birding, fishing, and recreational opportunities. The Raven Cabin is the perfect space for your Great North adventures or quiet getaway to rest and recharge—without the hassle of an expensive and weather-dependent air or water taxi. Getaway in the Alaskan wilderness
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Raven cabin for 3 nights and loved our stay. We spent 4 days hiking, driving the Nabesna road, relaxing, and enjoying nature. The cabin is rustic, but very cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. We didn’t have any cell service, but that’s part of why we enjoyed our stay so much. We used the lodge’s internet once to check for any urgent notifications, but otherwise we (and our dog Finn) used the weekend to completely unwind. Do bring bug spray though, the mosquitoes are no joke.
