Great stay. Stayed in the Generals suite which was in the converted carriage house. Very hilly making walking to downtown and back sporty at least.

Charming, but not the most comfortable
It's a cool looking place. Friendly and welcoming staff. I felt like our room was kind of musty and the best and pillow weren't the most comfortable. There are nice porches and balconies to sit out on in nice weather. And you can easily walk to Main Street if you don't mind a million stairs. It's an old place so there aren't a lot of outlets for your devices.

Anniversary in Galena
We enjoyed our overnight for our anniversary. The staff was very professional and accommodating. We had a plumbing issue and they resolved it while we were at dinner. Breakfast was delightful. We enjoyed the Blackhawk room.

This is beautifully unique property located within easy walking distance of downtown Galena. The Loft has a separate entrance and is spacious and well appointed. Highly recommend!
