The property needs a proper update. The update that was done is terrible. Paint job is sloppy and incomplete. The ceiling was patched but not sanded and still had water stains. Carpet had paint drips on them. The bathroom sink wasn’t properly attached to the counter. The sloppy update makes the hotel feel dirty, but it is not dirty. Windows only had a shade, no sheer curtains, so you had to keep the shade closed so people wouldn’t see in. So my room was always in the dark. Room was clean, sheets were clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and everything looked recently refurbished and was clean. The shower drained slowly, but the water was hot this morning and it looked like the hotel was pretty full last night so my shower was probably after most guests had already left. Breakfast not the best I have had but not too bad.

I just generally feel that all hotels should have small tables on each side of both beds. People have phones, books, and glasses to set down. They don't always want to disrupt their sleeping partner for this or put their things on the floor.

This property is managed and operated by people whose first language is not English. This made check-in awkward. Maid service did not service our room anytime during our two-day stay. When dirt and dust are visible, it raises the question of general sanitation. I overpaid for this room when I consider what we got.
