I know this property has some poor reviews but man for the price and the area you get to stay in it’s well worth it. Free parking was amazing and is very walkable.
Party and drug use all night music with people coming and going. Roaches in bathroom and no coffee in the morning. Uncaring staff that would not answer the phone.
Not really sure the last time things were replaced or fixed in the room. There was a hole in the bathroom wall from the door knob, no lock on the bathroom door and the towel holder was falling apart. The room smelled like a smokers room and the charging port in the lamp did not work.
I stayed here since it was probably the lowest cost place I could find to stay at that was in Washington DC. However you get what you pay for. The hotel was very dirty and run down. Very noisy at night. It is close to Metro so easy to get around via transit which is a good thing

Some good and some bad!
What a fascinating place with fascinating characters. Would be nice if they had towels without stains or hairs on them though.
This was without a doubt the grossest place I've ever stayed. There was mold on the shower curtain, the sheets were not washed, the tabletops had grime on them, the ceiling was so thin that every tiny movement from people above you resonates loudly through your own room, every single towel had mysterious streaks of brown and black PLUS random letters written in marker, and when you call, their phone line is always busy, disconnected, or it rings forever without being answered, and the desk is unmanned. Horrible place I will never stay at again. I will never stay at any Motel 6 again; it was that bad.

Serrviceable older motel
This is an older property located in the NoMa district. It shows its age particularly on the building exterior. The bed was comfortable, the desk easy to use with my computer, and the bathroom was clean. While the desk is open 24/7, I did have to wait a few minutes for both checkin and checkout until someone came from the back.
I've stayed at many Motel 6's. In my experience, they are usually basic, clean accommodations. This one was poorly maintained and NOT clean. Broken furniture in my room, clogged sink drain, and a filthy bathroom floor. Before I took off for a day of meetings on my first morning, I mentioned the bathroom floor to the very friendly guy in the office, and he took note of it. When I returned late that night, the bathroom floor had not been touched, my bed was unmade-- but I had been left fresh towels. I can understand that businesses are expensive to run- but making sure a room is clean for the next guest doesn't cost any more-- it just requires management to consider that a priority.
