"This hotel is truly a little gem! Staying here felt like having our own villa in Galle Fort. With only four rooms, we had the pleasure of occupying the spacious upstairs room, which was beautifully furnished in a charming colonial style. The bathroom was equally impressive—spacious and well-appointed, featuring both a luxurious shower and a lovely bathtub. Breakfast is served at a communal table in the stunning garden, which adds to the delightful experience. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful; they even arranged for us to spend a beach day at another Taru Villa property, which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel—we loved every moment of our stay!"

"The team at the Bartizan is the absolute best. We truly enjoyed the welcome (and the departure) and couldn't recommend this hotel more for those staying in Galle. Make sure to book a room with a view of the Indian Ocean!"

"Great view and Amazing staff "

"Snooze Station was simply the best accommodation I stayed at in Sri Lanka (from a whole mix of hostels, homestays, and hotels). It's brand new, spotlessly clean, and provides hotel standard services despite being a hostel - such as a welcome drink, a cold flannel on arrival, towels on the beds, a tea and coffee area, etc. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The location is perfect for travellers - it is right by both the train and bus stations, and it's only a pretty 5 minute walk to the main entrance to Galle Fort area. But the best thing about Snooze Station is the staff, they were all so kind and friendly! I lost my voice one day - one of the staff knocked on my room door with a glass of hot water for my throat and offered to help further. You simply have to stay here if you're going to Galle! To the staff - thanks for the fantastic hospitality!"
