The heart of the beach house is the open-concept main level, where the living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly together. Curl up on the comfortable sectional sofa and enjoy a movie night or catch up with loved ones. The dining table located by several windows offers a stylish spot for meals with a view. Soothing natural tones and calming wood accents create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding with a steaming cup of coffee in the mornings or a relaxing glass of wine in the evenings. Step outside to the deck and breathe in the fresh ocean air as you soak in the panoramic views of the Gulf.

The open living area leads directly into the well-equipped kitchen. The spacious island with barstool seating allows for casual breakfasts or social gatherings. Ample cabinet space and top-of-the-line appliances make preparing meals a breeze. A convenient half-bath is located nearby. Completing the main floor, a comfortable bedroom with two queen-sized beds, large ocean-view windows, and a full bathroom provides a restful retreat.

The third floor offers a variety of sleeping arrangements. One spacious bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, two twin-sized beds, a dramatic tray ceiling, and private access to the oceanfront deck. An en-suite bathroom features a double vanity, soaking tub, and a separate glass shower. Another third-floor bedroom features two full-over-full bunk beds, while a fourth offers a king-sized bed. A full bathroom and laundry closet complete this floor. For a truly special view, head up to the private top floor bedroom, complete with a full-over-full bunk bed, a flat-screen TV, and breathtaking ocean views.

Just a short walk away, a community boardwalk leads you directly to the warm sand and inviting waves of the Gulf of Mexico. Relax on the deck and enjoy the sound of the waves and the refreshing ocean breezes - it's beachfront living at its finest! This beautiful home is also conveniently located near the shops, restaurants, and excitement of the Galveston Strand. Sea La Vie offers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun for the whole family, creating lasting memories for your beach getaway.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 8+ would need to be approved. We love hosting church groups, family reunions, etc., but do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Nice get away house!

Stayed for a couple nights, most bed were not comfortable at all very hard other then the mater bed room beds. Floors seemed unswept and needing moped when we arrived. Couches and seats were very stained and dirty as well. Seems like the need new cleaning people. The view of the house wasn't bad and the distance walk to the beach wasn’t very far decent distance. Elevator was locked off, one of the garage doors wasn’t able to be open and came unscrewed from the wall. Overall decent place for a get a way trip!

Didn’t live up to listing

Pretty rough all around house. Generally it was clean enough but things like broken windows, a dehumidifier aluminum taped in kitchen, no cooking pan, no broom etc. also the number of towels was severely lacking and the back door did not lock (broken). It’s wasn’t the worst stay but there was a ton of room for improvement. Water filter on fridge didn’t work either.

East Beach House

We enjoyed the layout of the house. Plenty of room for everyone. The private ocean access was fun & enjoyable. The ocean roar with sun up & sun down views were great. We enjoyed the beach, private walks, Katie’s seafood, The Strand, Duck ride, Murdocks, & Moody Gardens.

Potentially fabulous, but fell flat

The house was once upon a time wonderful but it has seen better days. On arrival one could see many problems on the outside of the house. Windows cloudy, green mold on drainage/gutter and stairwell. Opening the front door, a wall of Fabuliso scent hits you in the face. The floor was sticky and dirty, even though I saw the maids mop upon arrival. The bedrooms were fine but the bedding was cheap. In a 500 a night stay one would hope for at least cotton sheets but no, cheap bamboo or polyester is what we had. Windows and doors were difficult to open. Some impossible to open and close. The kitchen was a Goodwill collection of everything from the glasses and cups to all the mismatched cookware all put away Helter Skelter The refridgerator ice machine was not in working order and there was one half used roll of paper towels. The bottom oven did not work. In the property description it stated 6 parking spots. But the garage doors were in terrible shape and would not open. Dangerous too. If opened they could have fallen on some unsuspecting victim. The Bar-B-Q was solidly rusted out with no clean utensils to be found however I would not have used it because it was nasty looking. No beach towels or beach chairs were provided. In closing I wanted this to be a positive vacation with my family but it turned out to be very disappointing. I am a VRBO owner. I try to please my guests always. Clean cotton sheets and towels and always spick and span. I hope this helps.

Nice and yet disappointing

The place is a bit tired..,1) two codes are needed: one for the gate to the property and one for the home. They goofed and gave me only one code which they said was for the home but was for the gate. Took time to get this sorted.2) not as clean as hoped. Not dirty per se but found cheerios on the floor and sauce on the cupboards which my gals wiped off.3) my shower had mold around bottom edges4) they’ve got three portable air conditioners with hoses through the windows. Clearly mechanical issues with the hvac.5) says it’s got a bbq. Rusted piece of junk6) two garage doors both of which won’t open. Cables off the tracks and one door cockeyed7) one of the outside steps going up was warped.Nice enough place but I’ll rent a different one next time

New years trip

Great house and a very quiet gated neighborhood, beach access within neighborhood and city access on east side.The house is huge and the master bed is very comfortable.It’s on the east end and close to the Strand, easy navigation to what ever your plans entail, would and will stay here again

So much potential

Before I reserved I asked if they would allow early check in - about noon- on the 24th because my hubby and I wanted to do some business planning before our family and friends arrived. They said yes. As soon as I booked- they changed their answer. I asked and asked - their response was “depends on if the cleaners get done early!” Even though nobody stayed at property night before. I suggested they clean night before so they could honor their word- and they wouldn’t bend. They said check in the morning. When I did- they said check back after 2p. Well check in is at 4p and we are over an hour away- defeats the purpose. Never got to check in.When we get there- there travel guide has the wrong address. Took 15 mins to find a contact #- she was great- finally get I . When we get in home- it was filthy. Roach on kitchen window sill- limited cooking pans- broken fridge- showers and floors filthy. Sticky stuff on cabinets. They Said they would send cleaners- but they didn’t come until 3p- Christmas- while we were eating. Couches make u itch because they are super dirty gross!! We all showered with flip flops on… dirty home Overall this house has great potential. Owners don’t care to make it what it could be. It is filthy and needs TLC. Very nice location just need better managers or whoever is handling it. Didn’t ruin our Xmas or time together but definitely would never rent again. Still the irony of not checking in because cleaners had to clean and house was filthy. Don’t stay

Just Okay

The property looks different in online photos—furniture-wise. The house was pretty but unclean. The bar stools did not fit the "counter-height" bar—I couldn't put my legs under. The main room furniture was filthy, and there were no comfortable chairs. In the bunk room next to the master, the shower handle and faucet were broken, and the window was shattered. We left a day early because they house was uncomfortable.

Worst experience ever

There were a ton of mosquitos inside the place. They had left the door open so the mosquitoes got inside. There were a lot of mosquitoes right outside the house as well. It seems like they have a pest issue. The plumbing is very bad. The toilets and the sinks get clogged quickly. The AC did not work. We contacted management and they never resolved any of our issues.

Deceptive

House was relatively expensive so some basic expectations were in order. Floors were not sept or clean at all. Two of the four bathrooms had no toilet paper, soap or any other necessary items. You had no way to unlock a back door to the property to go out into the back yard, you had to exit front of house to go around back yard. Also, it was a 4 story house and I had a colleague there that recently had surgery and they had a elevator but you could not access it either. Downstairs in area for garage and family games was very dirty with trash everywhere and the grill just filled to the top with ashes. Most frustrating thing was I tried to contact the owner and got no reply. They took my money very quickly but after they got the money they were not too worried about accommodations. Do not rent from the individual.

Nice House

Nice House with lots a beds. Perfect for large group of kids. We only stayed two night, the refrigerator and freezer was not cooling, it finally cooled down the last night we were there. Owner did offer maintenance to come out, but since we were leaving and it started to cool no need. No Cornhole, as shown in picture, so make sure you take your own and the door to the yard was lock, so you have to walk around if you want to access the yard. Owner was helpful and responded quickly. Overall nice stay and location.

Website needs to be updated. The house is not as close to the beach as they say. The house does not over look the ocean, it overlooks a public drive to the public beach! Liars!! Housekeeping needs to be better. We walked in to a bad fish smell and discovered it was the garbage can had not been cleaned out. Clearly a company owns the house and is not on top of it. If it’s owned by a person, then shame on you. You are NOT easy to work with.

Vacy experience

The home is roomy and great neighborhood. The outside grill is not recommended for usage, previous grilling buildup. The upstairs patio screening window screens torn. The cooking pans missing handles and worn. Plenty of plates and drink ware. Refrigerator clean. Oven dirty , door gasket needs to be replaced , damaged. Master bedroom bed not very comfortable , bedsheet had some unknown stains. Trash under the nightstand and window treatments damaged. We experienced foul water odor in master shower while in use. One downstairs bedroom toilet needed repair not flushing. The washer door sealant has mold stains. We tried to clean with disinfectant wipes not very successful in cleaning the buildup and mold stains. The bunk beds only have mattresses, no bunkie boards. AC not cooling well with this hot weather, lacking fans for backups, ceiling fans some worked some did not function well to assist with cooling the home. Trash was left on the boat dock from previous clients. The cowboy pool was dirty. Hoping this feedback helps others.

The house is in a great place on east beach. Private beach access. Also is a short bike ride to the strand. The bike ride down the beach at sunset was wonderfull
