A Hotel to Remember
Perfect Location ~ lots of parking, close to Pleasure Pier, across the road to the ocean, walkable, safe and handy to some wonderful restaurants along the famous Seawall Blvd. A simple breakfast to start the day is available as is hot coffee in the lobby. Our room was spacious, spotless and completely comfortable.

Accomodation was ok for one night but parking was not secure or monitored.. some one damaged my car in a breakin attempt, mgmt did not do much except a sorry and sharing local police number, did not even cime out of reception to see what the damages are, parking location or how it would have happend.

There was mold in my bathroom all around the shower and ceiling. No lightbulbs in the lamps and the coffee maker didn’t work. Sheets were also dirty.

If someone wants a spot on the beach, this is it. I got a great view with a short walk to the water. From my balcony I could see the ships going out and the waves coming in. The parking was great as well.

Nice property
Nice property for the price. All front desk staff were exceptional!!! Clean room and comfy beds. We skipped the breakfast as it was just cold stuff and waffles. Convenient location in short walking distance to many great spots on the Seawall side of the island. This was a last minute substitute hotel for us after original reservation at a different hotel was cancelled due to a closed property. Will consider staying again on next visit.

Galveston stay
We were very grateful for this room, as we got to the hotel that we booked several months ago, and it was closed due to weather damage. Hotels.com moved us to this one with no additional charge.

Love me some Galveston
Love how close it is to the ocean. Good price. Breakfast was carbs only (cereal, waffles), but with refrigerator and microwave in the room, we did alright!

This property looks very updated on the photos, but it was a letdown in the room itself. There was still plastic over the lamp shades as if they had just been put in the room. There was a big hole in the screen of the window we had as well as peeling from where the AC unit was underneath the window. The carpet was clean as far as walking on it, but it did have old stains that never got out. The bed was very lumpy, and the pillows were too soft for my husband and I and I had to request more pillows as well as towels. The staff was very accommodating and sweet to anything else we needed. I just wish the room was up to the standard that it showed in the photos. Also, the breakfast was a disappointment-it was make your own waffles, with some pastries, small muffins, toast, and cereal. There was coffee, milk, orange juice and apple juice. It was close to the pleasure pier. We were able to walk to it without having to pay for parking, but I'd probably never go back for either experience.

We stayed here the day before our cruise. Got assigned our room and the first thing we see when we open the door are 3 large roaches. 2 in the bathroom and one on the door to the balcony. We were able to get our room moved for the night, but you end up sleeping a little antsy just because of that experience. Friendly front desk staff, minimal breakfast options at the hotel, but there are restaurants in the area. Wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay past a couple of days.

Our room reservation was changed on us upon arrival. We reserved two queen beds and ended up in a king suite with a pull out bed couch(super uncomfortable). Carpet in the room was just very dirty. Sheets we requested for the pullout couch were all stained, had holes and not clean. Location was the main reason we stayed there to begin with. But overall the hotel was just very dirty.
