Checkin awesome! Deluxe King room is huge, I said you could bring a basketball team with sleeping bags n have room. Comfortable bed, good water pressure and hot water. Coffee maker n refrigerator. Only shampoo and soap. Cleanliness could use help a few items still there from prior person and floor so so. No bar or bistro on premises. Nothing really close to get something to eat. Breakfast limited but basics n lady who works it is super. Checkout employee awesome.

I wasn't overly impressed with this location. It didn't feel very clean in our room. There is a place over the center nightstand between the beds (room 413) that had water damage and the appearance of mold. The corners around the bathtub (the outside) where it meets the tile floor were disgusting. I know its a hard area to clean, but ugh. The breakfast was not great - nothing healthy like oatmeal or non-sugar yogurt. The only yogurt was Trix brand...totally full of sugar. The eggs were the microwave kind and very salty. And I watched the lady working the breakfast area drop spoons on the floor out of their storage cabinet, then pick them up and put them right back in the cabinet with the clean spoons. I would not stay here again.

Overall: A good value for the price. Details: My room was large, but looked heavily used and showed signs of wear. Not a big deal though. Decent view, bed was comfortable. There was no restaurant on site, and none were in reasonable walking distance. So if you're tired from your day and don't feel like driving somewhere for dinner and finding parking your only option is ordering delivery. The on-site self parking was convenient and you save a lot of money by not having a valet. The elevator takes you right down to the parking area. The location isn't near the more interesting areas, but the Galveston is small enough that everything is easy to drive to. The gym is small and basic, but it will get the job done. I didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it's a terrific value considering the price vs other hotels in the area. It's perfect if you're on a business trip, but may not be ideal if you're on vacation.

Everything was great except that the window didn’t have a curtain and the sun was shining bright before my alarm went off and I couldn’t sleep anymore. It only has a rolling sun shade but it’s not room darkening one.

The location was walking distance to shopping. The staff was amazing providing assistance and directions to the Galveston port for our cruise. Very helpful. Overall stay was excellent.

When we entered our room, the air conditioning was on and the temperature was 58 degrees- too cold!!! We immediately turned the heat on, which eventually brought the temperature back up to above 72 degrees. Room service should not leave the AC on such a low setting. Shower valve is “backwards” compared to most tub showers - have to push down on the faucet head rather than pulling up. Need to put a sign in the shower on how to operate the valve. Tub drain did not drain well. Tub filled up while taking a shower.
