I'm sorry that I don't have much to say except that this fit our need for a decent place to stay overnight. We left before sunrise and missed the breakfast, sad to say! The woman at the front desk was pleasant and it is very close to the town of Gardiner, but enough removed to feel very secluded. Not a lot of frills, but perfect for our needs.

An incredible property. We had a huge room with a gorgeous view of the mountains and elk in the field. Great breakfast every morning prepared by owner was fantastic. We enjoyed this property very much and would return again if in the area. Excellent!

Very close to the entrance of YNP. The lady who manages the facility waited for us very late since our trip got delayed a bit. We saw the Milky Way in the parking lot while hearing elk roaming around. Oh, and it is facing the devil’s slide and it is absolutely magnificent. Highly recommend for visiting YNP from the north entrance!

We stayed 5 nights in Room 9 River View. We loved everything about our room from the skylight to the view of the river and elk below. The owners are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The homemade breakfasts were great and saved us so much money. We plan to be back!

The Yellowstone Basin Inn was very convenient to the northern entrance to Yellowstone and the Beartooth Highway. We got great advice from Jeannette, when we checked in regarding our next day's ride on the Beartooth. Breakfast each morning was so-so. Not many options for proteins besides one meat each day, several sweets (French toast, pancakes, coffee cake), but the kitchenette in our room made up for that. We had leftovers from dinner that we heated in the microwave before heading out in the morning. It also had a small fridge and was well-stocked with utensils and plates, cups, etc. Great stay!

We had an amazing stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn! This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great start to our days of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view – waking up to see the river and mountains was just magical! We highly recommend Yellowstone Basin Inn for anyone visiting the area. It truly exceeded our expectations!
