Not a bad place to stay. Doesn’t look very pleasing on the outside but, inside is nice. The way the room is arranged doesn’t really seem logical. The TV and dresser are to the right of the bed. My love and I like to play games using the TV and, it’s really hard to sit comfortably on the bed trying to watch TV. Would make way more sense to have the bed facing the tv instead of the window when your view is just a parking lot.
When we got into the room its was easily 80 degrees and took a while to cool down. Also had a bunch of flies in the room. The remote was missing for the TV. Again, we like to play games and need us of a TV. Plus my love falls asleep with it on. We contacted the front desk and they were able to supply us with a remote. Can’t set a timer on the TV though.
Pool is completely drained, but even if it was full, it’s completely exposed to the sun. It looked clean like it could be used but, just didn’t have any water.
We brought our service dog because it was the only hotel that advertised in the area as being dog friendly. When we checked in, they told us “no smoking, no dogs.” There’s even a sign which shows there is a charge for dogs which didn’t make sense for him to say that. I informed him about the dog and showed the service dog certificate and that was the end of that conversation.
Overall, pretty average stay. The people were friendly and helpful in accommodating our needs. Ice machine makes great ice. Inexpensive as well.
