Bearfoot Retreat is a gorgeous 2 bedroom cabin designed for relaxation, romance, and fun. Located in the desirable Chalet Village community, it’s less than 3 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, 8 miles from Pigeon Forge, and 1 mile to Ober Gatlinburg ski resort. Access Stoplight 10 in downtown Gatlinburg with an eight minute drive, avoiding the usual headache and traffic of parkway access. If you're looking for the ideal log cabin getaway experience, Bearfoot Retreat is just the place you're looking for.

Enjoy excellent mountain and ski lift views with 2 spacious king suites with whirlpool tubs on separate levels for complete privacy. The efficient split floor plan has a large kitchen and living area on the main floor, full game room and king suite on the lower level with another suite on the top floor. All three floors have covered decks with a different view for everybody's preference! Outdoor cooking, seating, and relaxing is offered throughout each deck including a hot tub, dining table, rocking chairs, and swing.

Mountain views like this are hard to come by without the usual endlessly winding and dangerous climb up Smoky Mountain roads. Bearfoot Retreat is one of the most easily accessible cabins in Chalet Village, with pristine FLAT concrete private parking for two cars.

The first thing you'll notice is the unique log cabin look with an inviting entryway. This begins your vacation experience at the comfortable cabin you may never want to leave (even with dozens of activities within a short drive!).

Enter the cabin into an open entertaining space, with comfortable couches, large TV, gourmet kitchen, and gas log fireplace. Show off your cooking skills with updated appliances, granite counter, and fully-stocked cupboards. For the grill master in you, there's also a grill out on the deck. Enjoy your home-cooked mountain meal at the dining table comfortably seating 6.

Head down a flight of stairs to the spacious game room, where the competitive juices start flowing across games of pool, shuffleboard, and plenty of table-top board gaming options. The game room also includes ample seating, a flat screen TV and access to a covered deck with hot tub.

Our 1,900 square foot cabin comfortably accommodates groups of 1 – 6 guests and provides vacation amenities throughout. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed with luxury linens and sufficient pillows important for a good night’s sleep, highlighted by the private deck off the top floor master suite. A pullout sofa in the living room accommodates the 5th and 6th guest comfortably.

The cabin offers flat panel TV’s in each bedroom with Charter cable, as well as Wi-Fi and phone for those who need to stay connected. Enjoy premium cable channels including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and more if you're looking for a night in around the fire.

Our guests have access to all three Association Clubhouses, featuring large swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, shuffleboard, game rooms, and much more!

Beautiful setting

Very nice cabin, close to everything. Kids enjoyed the hot tub & game room. Gatlinburg was just a 10 minute drive, very curvy & steep roads, but luckily didn’t have to get by another car. The cabin needs a little tlc, stove was not working properly, some cookwear was getting old but we enjoyed meals at home. I would return to this cabin - maybe next year.

Great layout

This was an awesome cabin. Very clean, awesome views, and very functional layout with plenty of room. The game room with pool stable and shuffle board was a very nice addition as we enjoyed lots of pool. The living room was spacious, but had that cozy cabin feel. Loved the views and enjoyed the hot tub as well. A perfect home away from experience.

Nice getaway

Just a short vacation to the mountains. The cabin and its location were both very nice. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including games, a pool table, and a hot tub. We did not have any issues and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location and Beautiful view

Cabin is close to town and has a Perfect view of the mountains and ski slope. We saw a bear just after arriving to the cabin. Perfect surprise for the kids. Cabin was big, clean, separated if you wanted your own space. It was perfect for our family.

Beautiful stay in the mountains

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It even has space for all 3 of our kids, who absolutely loved the game room. The fold out couch bed came with plenty of pillows and blankets. The cabin was well stocked with your normal kitchen utensils and dishes. We are from flat FL so the winding road up the mountain kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, but that comes with the territory. It was well worth the views. I would certainly stay again in the future.

Beautiful cabin

The beautiful cabin was in a nice, quiet location. The view from the top balcony was amazing. The road leading to the cabin was narrow and winding (but that was to be expected). Fortunately, the driveway was flat and it accommodated 2 cars. The only negative thing I would say is that the hot tub, which was outside near the bedroom, would wake us up every hour or so. My husband was tempted to turn the hot tub off so he get some sleep. About a hour after we arrived at the cabin, my son saw a black bear sniffing at the enclosed trash cage next door. We enjoyed our stay at this special cabin.

Marvelous!

So enjoyed our stay. We happened upon the perfect leaf-peeping weekend in the Smokies and the color as great as I have ever seen. Despite horrendous tragic, we climbed Clingman’s Dome, something I have not done since 1960. And Cades’s Cove was had overwhelming color. The house was perfect in every way

Not five stars. Needs attention.

Shower in downstairs had mold growing all in it. Several doors would not open but half way due to hitting the floor. Trim missing in kitchen. Rotten wood on upstairs deck. Safety concern. Overall condition is fair. Cabin as a whole needs repairs and attention for the price charged.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The cabin was clean. I was expecting a much better view of the mountain from the online pictures. There is only a sliver of mountain view looking to the far left. Otherwise, you are looking at trees. The oly other issue was the water pressure. It was very low and took forever to heat up for a shower.

Unbelievable Smoky Mountain stay

Unbelievable stay. Saw bears every day including watching one try to get in to our car while we were in the house. Bed rooms were great and the cot for our 18 month old were fantastic. Loved the communal areas especially the balconies, hot tub and games room. Great location for getting round the Smokies which is an exceptionally beautiful area. We'll definitely be back.
