Got to the motel thinking we could check in at 3 (my fault I read the email wrong). Man at the desk was rude when I told him we were checking in. When we came back to check in at 430, the gentleman at the desk was very nice and professional.

It was affordable and comfortable in the heart of Gatlinburg. The pillows weren't the most comfy, but accomodations overall and breakfast were great. 💯

As we checked in, and ready to go to our room, the elevator did not work. The staff moves our room to take the stairwell for one floor. Thankfully, the elevator worked OK for the rest of our trip. The stairwell was smelly. There is no creamer or tea bags in the room nor is there any water bottles.
There was also no exercise room, however there was a pool that we did not use.

Very friendly staff but it is clear that this hotel is understaffed, particularly in house keeping. Room looked like it needed to be vacuumed, dusted, and wiped down.Did not feel comfortable using the pool or lazy river as they appeared unclean.
It's not inhabitable. Needs more staff for cleaning and perhaps remodeling.
On the plus side, the location is close to downtown, walking distance. And again the staff- particularly lobby were friendly and helpful. The one staff member overseeing the free breakfast was hardworking.
