I booked a room with Queen bed but was given a room with 2 single beds. I only realized that upon entry to room but having checked in at 2:45/3am, I was too tired to go back down to reception to change rooms, it would have been nice to get the room that I had booked/paid for. Other than that, everything else was good - easy access to Gatwick terminal / shuttle and room was clean.

Straight forward speedy check in and out Friendly staff Room had everything we required in toiletries and refreshments. Very clean comfortable beds Dining facilities at breakfast- very good great variety of choice. Easy wheelchair access Only thing we didn’t like was that you had to climb over the bath to shower, from a personal and also health and safety I will check next time if walk in shower available? It was way too difficult to locate this hotel at the airport. I was going back and forth. Crazy. If they would have had one or two GOOD signs it would have been easy. Wasted an hour. Was not happy with this. They had signs, vague and very unclear.

The location is perfect but that’s it. My room had the softest squishiest bed I’ve ever attempted to sleep on. It was so uncomfortable for me and I like soft beds. I think the beds have a thick mattress topper and that’s the problem, there’s no support. The room was too hot and the aircon was useless and very loud. The choices were either too hot to sleep or too loud to sleep and slightly cooler. I arrived at Gatwick airport for an early flight the next day having had less sleep than if I’d stayed at home and left earlier. I would never stay here again, even it was free.
