The newest member of the holiday complex La Fornace is the single house 'Casetta Olivera'. The 'Olivera' was completely restored and refurbished in March 2014, embedded between old picturesque olive and fig trees, it is an ideal retreat for 2 people who are looking for peace and relaxation. The 'Casetta Olivera' has its own driveway and parking space right next to the house.
This really charming 'piece of jewelry' has approx. 35 square meters and is divided into a small living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed and a spacious bathroom. Through a large window door you step onto the 20sqm terrace and the surrounding garden. The half-covered terrace is equipped with garden furniture and is the large living room in summer, two sun loungers are available in the garden. If a family with 3 people is arriving, there is the possibility to sleep on a 1.20 wide pull-out divan in the salon.
Surrounded by a well-tended park (approx. 5000sqm) with old trees, which in turn is framed by 50,000sqm olive grove, is this picturesque, completely restored natural stone house from the 19th Century, in which there are three charming apartments and a little away from the main house two picturesque individual houses, the Etrusco and the Casetta Olivera. All apartments have separate entrances and direct access from the living room to the romantic garden, their own outside seating, garden furniture and loungers, fly screens and fans. The oval pool 10 x 5 m is not missing, of course, surrounded by a Mediterranean palm garden. A large sand playground with climbing and rocking equipment is available. Other positive things: satellite TV, WiFi, washing machine, organic. Olive oil and wine (in-house production), bread service, our legendary Tuscan evening with 4-course menu on request, a Christmas tree is available in winter, dogs are welcome, massages from our physiotherapist once a week (by appointment).

How to get there: You come on the motorway from the north, past Pisa + Livorno, always in the direction of Rome-Grosseto. The motorway ends in Rosigniano Marittimo (toll booth). From there take the SS1 (expressway) towards Grosseto until the Gavorrano scalo exit. Please do not turn towards Gavorrano and Bagno di Gavorrano before! Now head towards Ravi. On country road (old Aurelia SS1) approx. Drive 7 km, then you will come to the Bivio Ravi town sign, shortly after there will be a roundabout, do not turn here to Ravi, which is on top of a mountain, but 1 km further straight towards Grosseto, here the 2nd on the right Turn off to Ravi. Then drive exactly 1300m on this small, rising road until a gravel road comes to the left. Please turn here, after about 50m you will see the entrance to La Fornace on the left. At last! Welcome.
To come to us there is also the possibility to fly, e.g. B. to Pisa or Rome with TUIfly, Ryanair, Easyjet etc. and to take a rental car in Pisa or Rome
Culture: There is so much for art and culture enthusiasts that a vacation is certainly not enough to have seen everything. Since we are right in the center of the ancient Etruscan culture, it is not far to excavations, ancient sites, e.g. B. Vetulonia, Populonia, Roselle, Vulci, Tarquinia etc. Of course, the dream cities of Massa Marrittima, Siena, Florence and your museums should not be forgotten. Even the beautiful city of Rome can be visited for a day trip from here. Those who indulge in sports and leisure activities will certainly get their money's worth here. In 15-20 minutes you are right on our beautiful coast with miles of wide sandy beaches, such as those found in Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, romantic bathing bays, picturesque small coastal towns, with a wide range of sports and a funky nightlife. Anyone who still wants to dine like 'God in Italy' and taste our excellent wine will find everything here, from the small trattorie to the gourmet temple, that makes a gourmet's heart beat faster.
