Reception not very welcoming just one word hello,here's your key and concentrating on our car.I didn't like that there was no breakfast option. Also I was extremely surprised that there was no curfew around noise. Guests were permitted to make as much noise as they wanted at whatever time e.g. 12am with no consideration for other guests. Owner forgot to give key combination code for return deposit box to return keys so had to leave keys on bench and ring to advise.

The room was great, bed really comfortable. Only down fall was there were no toiletries at all not even soap to wash your hands with. Luckily supermarket is across the road so was able to pick some up easily.

No gas bottle in the barbeque, which was obviously not used for a long time. Loved being opposite a Woolworths and beside a nice hotel. 24 service station 100 metres away. Fish and chip shop and Italian restaurant 150 metres away. Room was relatively large and clean and in good condition. Hotplate to cook. One of the better small motels. Comaratively reasonably priced. Recommended.

The shower head kept falling down, Taps needed new washers desperately and we had to walk to reception to ask for wine glasses - a small inconvenience but annoying when it’s around 8.30pm at night and you want to stay in. The worst was the extreme deodorising smell in there - it was strong even after 2 days! The best? I loved the location, 1 min walk to very good pub with excellent scallops and lovely steak, woolies across the road, about 7 mins drive to Geelongs waterfront.
