These outbuilding are not for access due to safety reasons for guests and for the sustainability of the property itself. We require that guests do not access out buildings or cross over fences in place. We have video surveillance of off limits areas only to protect our animals and property. Please only access the house, the yard immediately surrounding the house, or the driveway. Guests may occasionally see from the porch the resident chickens roaming about on insect patrol or strategically hiding eggs in the shrubs. Our guesthouse also features 2 horses that were rescued from slaughter, they may look over the fence and smack their lips at you beckoning you to feed them a treat. Please do not approach or feed any of the resident animals as they all have special needs/diets that must be maintained.
The home itself also features an elaborate system for rain water collection used for supplemental watering of animals and garden areas beyond the barn. This system has several holding tanks throughout the property. Guests can see from the porch there is an Aeromotor Windmill beyond the barns that can be utilized in the event of a power outage to maintain our animal's well-being.
