Plenty of Space, Great Location
Guys weekend in the Mountains and had lots of space for everyone. Kitchen had all the amenities for meal prep- pots, pans, plates, cutlery. Both coffee pot and Keurig and assortment of spices. Games and TV's and lots of areas to spread everyone out.

Wonderful Family Home
This property was everything we wanted! Very comfortable, well-stocked, layout of rooms and spaces was perfect to give everyone privacy and quiet, and was great proximity to skiing and shopping! I highly recommend!

A great property equidistant from Breckenridge and Winter Park and only an hour from the airport. Nice amenities, very comfortable beds, easy check-in and check-out process, and very responsive hosts. One note, Empire is a small town with very little in the way of stores and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

Girls weekend
Great place to stay. Very comfortable. All 4 of us had our own rooms. Close to Georgetown and much cheaper than staying there. We loved watching the hummingbirds on the back porch. Everything we needed was there. And just a short walk to a couple of nice restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Probably the nicest VRBO I've ever had. Excellence in furnishings, linens, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes...etc. Plenty of room for eight people. And what fun sitting on the deck watching the humming birds.

Great mountain retreat
This is a very comfortable and well-stocked house in the mountains. The area is lovely, and there is a large deck and firepit in the yard where you can sit and appreciate the surroundings as well as the hummingbirds flocking to the feeders. It is also close to many great hikes and other outdoor adventures. Coming with our adult children, we particularly appreciated the large, comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms with toilets separated from the sink and counter areas; nobody was ever waiting for the bathroom. The jacuzzi tub was great too! We had a lovely stay here which we would highly recommend.

The property was great it was the second time we stayed. It was a good location for accessing Jones Pass. Plenty of room. The only issue was that the stove does not work well. We had the same problem two years ago.

Wonderful birthday experience!
I stayed at this property with my friends and family for my birthday and we had a wonderful time! Check in process was super easy and the host was available to contact and even allowed us to check in an hour early since we landed in Denver earlier than expected! It was a very clean and spacious house and we would definitely stay here again!

Wedding Family Base
Our stay was for 4 days as the “base of operations” for our daughter’s wedding in Idaho Springs. There was plenty of room for my family of 6 grown people to spread out and be comfortable. Being from Texas, the only thing I wasn’t used to, was the multi-level floor. I know that is normal in that area, but we spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining nook. The family room and the game room, although awesome wasn’t used, but again that is because of my family spending a lot of time in the kitchen normally. I cannot say enough about the house. It was clean and organized and everything that we need was supplied. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms had plenty of towels and toilet paper. Yes, the house was super clean, yes, the house was big enough, yes, the house provided extracurricular activities, yes, the house has a spectacular view, but what made it over the top were the little details. This owner definitely thought like a mom. There were supplies in the pantry, plenty of hangers in the closet, Kleenex in every room, extra soap, lotion, body wash in super cute gift bags. I know that may not seem important but when someone pays this much attention to little details, to me it says, “I care”. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the sites.

Quiet and pleasant.
Overall it was a great experience! From the outside its looks like a small home, but once you're inside its a whole different story! If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to relax, then this is a good place to go. Located up by the mountains, the only sounds you hear are from nature. I will definitely recommend to others! :-)

Perfect place to stay for adventure trip with friends!
I was thrilled to find this house that was the perfect place for 5 friends from different states (KS, MO, WI and PA) to reunite and share some adventures in the beautiful Rockies! Everything we needed was thought of and provided. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It was so nice to have 4 bathrooms along with the very nice bedrooms. Marlene, the hostess, is very friendly, kind and accommodating. Our only complaint was that we wish we could've stayed longer! It was a good location to be home base for the things we wanted to do in the area. On our way to Empire from Denver Airport, we stopped at the Buffalo Bill Museum, which was fun and very interesting! After we got 2 days to acclimate a little to the altitude, 3 of us hiked Mt. Bierstadt, while the other 2 drove to the peak of Mt Evans. We drove through the Rocky Mt. National Forest, walked around Georgetown and Idaho Springs nearby, hiked Silverdale Trail and also drove to Breckenridge where we shopped and ate. Empire is a quaint little town... we ate at the Sweet Shop & Grill our last day and wish we would've gone sooner! Amazing sandwiches and incredible, unique milkshakes! It was nice to eat breakfast out on the deck in the cool mornings as we planned our day. We all highly recommend this house and hope to return!
