This is in the perfect location for Gettysburg! Near the battlefield, museums, and historic buildings. The room was very clean, decor of one civil war added to the historic feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel was great! Perfect location, friendly staff and very clean. And the complimentary breakfast was really good. Shout out to Gauge at the front desk. Super helpful and friendly. Great customer service.

Wifi logged you out even if you didn't leave the hotel. The wifi password changes each month, problem is though we stayed from end of November into early December and no one bothered to tell us. If you stay here, stay on the back side as big trucks use the road in front all ours is the day and night.

Family owned, great price with wonderful check in staff! Family owned makes a big difference in staff and check in staff. They go over and above with friendliness and service! The hotel is historic and nice. The room was roomy and clean with comfortable bed. We were up on the 5th floor on the end and it was very quiet. The free breakfast was excellent! Plenty of seating. 2 choices of eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, biscuits/gravy, they had delicious raisin bread for a choice for toast, danish, waffles, pancakes- they had everything. They also had flavor pumps for your coffee-wow! Good parking too. Location is right in the Gettysburg town so it's close to everything. It was a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. The inn is located on a main road with a lot of little shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is a battlefield right next to the hotel and museums within walking distance. Lots of tours available. It was a great experience. We loved how the room doors were on the outside of the building and we could step out onto the landing and watch the world go by. Beautiful views of the sunset. I wish they put some kind of furniture outside your room but it would make it hard for housekeeping and maintenance to travel through so I get it. Their outdoor pool looked beautiful. Parking was right behind the hotel. Breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. They had pancakes, sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit... It had it's own room and the dining room was the room next to it. So good. Really liked having a full breakfast each morning. The staff were so nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Gettysburg!

We stayed at 1863 because it was right downtown Gettysburg and close to all the shops and great restaurants. They provided a really good breakfast in the morning. And friendly staff service when we checked in. I felt the room was a little loud as hearing the neighbors too much but other than that the place was very nice. Super Duper clean.
