We have been staying at this hotel at Thanksgiving over the past six years because it is located close to our families that live in the area. Gettysburg as a historic little city, that is particularly pretty around the holidays, from all the Christmas decorations with the Christmas tree in the center of town. It reminds me of a classic Christmas movie setting

Room not as described by Expedia. Expected two rooms with queen beds but received 1 room with living room suite. Beds seemed like they were less than queen perhaps a double. Amenities are scarce and well-worn. Location is good and staff great

It was great staying right in the heart of old Gettysburg. It was little bit of a drive to get to the visitors center and battlefield's, but it was not inconvenient for the most part. Great experience. My husband thinks a ghost hit his foot the first night. Who knows?

The parking situation is poor. Poor instructions on parking access. Amenity list on Expedia said there was a refrigerator in room, but there was not. The heating fan was loud and very inefficient. The TV is poor, with very limited offerings. No Netflix or movie rentals. No menu in room for room service and nothing on the TV about it. No information about hotel amenities, etc., on the TV and no video check out. Feels like a hotel from the 60s.
