Booked thru Expedia for a family room with three beds. When I arrived, they told me I have two rooms with two double beds only. That was not what I reserved, because my teenagers cannot share a bed. They told me the transaction did not go through the first time, so they made it a two rooms to upgrade us. I told them I don’t need an upgrade, I needed a room with 3 beds. I also asked when they found out the room I booked became unavailable, they should have contacted me instead of making this arrangement. And they offered either I took the 2 double rooms or they refund me and leave. Where should I stay if I leave? That was not the solution. I asked them if they have rollaway bed. They told me they don’t. After another 15 minutes pass by that I struggled to figure out what should I do. Another agent walked up and said they have rollaway bed. Nice. Of course I need to work with my teens so the one sleeping in the rollaway bed won’t feel like we are unfair. During the stay, staff are very nice and helpful. Train station Dampoort isn’t a main station therefore will need to transfer train if heading to Bruges or Brussels. Seems like not a big deal but if missed a train, it means another 30 minutes wait. Breakfast is minimal with bread, pound cake, juices, coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, cheese, ham. But after a few days. I got tired of it. The rooms were cleaned when we got it the first day. But then I spotted some black dot like sesame seed size.

Nice hotel, wouldn’t return.
This hotel is modern, it is split with Ibis Budget and that’s pretty much what it is. It’s comfortable enough, our room was clean but my other friends wasn’t (substantial about of hair in drain that was blocked). The thing you need to know is that the hotel is located in what can only be described as a developing area. The surrounding area is really ugly and basically looks like a building site / industrial estate.

We thought taking a risk with a 3 star hotel which we would never book but were we wrong ! The apart hotel is just super comfy and clean as the best 4 star hotels - but lower priced. Bedding, bathroom… top quality. Breakfast : continental standard - good Service : close to excellent I’d prefer not to make this review as to keep it off the radar but sharing is caring. Happy to see something refreshing like Adagio in my hometown! Xxx

Definitely recommended choice if you visit Gent, the bread and cakes in the breakfast are all fresh made, the bed are the best I had so far. One night we had someone banging on our door at 3am, the staff took our call and came up to check immediately and took care of it. Oh, and the self-laundry machine is very useful that you could change the language to understand what options you have.

Très moyen...
Check-in très laborieux... ne retouve pas reservation, peu aimable. Parle anglais alors que finalement elle parle français à la fin !!! Hotel récent, mais beaucoup de choses à revoir : joliment décoré mais 1 lampe sur 2 fonctionne, pb evacuation chasse d'eau, porte de salle de bain qui coince. Réception fait accueil des 2 hôtels : Ibis et Adagio. Beaucoup de clients et peu de receptionnistes...(Shannon a fait notre check out, enfin quelqu'un à l'écoute, et nous a gentiment offert café et thé vu notre mauvaise experience) Hôtel excentré du centre : 20 mn à pied. Bref mauvais rapport qualité-prix !

Teleurstellend bezoek. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar
Bezocht dit hotel op zakenreis. Het is een bijzonder basic hotel wat onder de IBIS vlag opereert. Ik kreeg een kamer toebedeeld met een opklapbed. Ik ontdekte dit helaas pas na terugkomst van diner. Het betrof een uitgeklapte bed bank. Blijkbaar een kamer die men aan een andere kamer kan verbinden. Het bed was bijzonder oncomfortabel (net als overigens de bijbehorende kussens). Een te dunne matras en een te kort bed. Typisch een bed voor een kind dat samen met ouders reist. Ik kom hier zeker niet terug.

Gent surpresa.
O Adagio foinuma excelente surpresa em.nossa viagem. Hotel bem confortável, localização otima na regiao de Damport que esta sendo toda revitalizada e bem perto do centro histórico, uns 15 min caminhando. O cafe da manha surpreendeu e achamos muito bom, so os sucos que poderiam ser naturais.
