A bit dated as far as Motels go...nice location with restaurant and live entertainment on the weekends...more suitable to a motor cycle club type of facility...not sure where they got the pictures describing the rooms but they dont match the property...rooms are outdated and not the cleanest...tho I didnt see any roaches im sure they are there...vinyl floors are so nasty to walk on...damp and musky feels like walking in a swamp...toilet barely took down floating tp let alone one of the little brown buddies...one of the pictures show a brown barcolounger in the room...didnt match the 60's style table and 2 chairs we had...6 tv channels if they show up...5 inch microwave...oh...the fridge was ok once it was plugged in...if I had a choice i wouldve made a better choice and kept driving till i got out of WV...not that Va was any better...next time im bringing a cot and a tent. You pay for what you get i guess. Just not for me...maybe you will like it...go with an open mind...enjoy.

Great place for a stay overnight. Relaxing, clean, low key. Stopped here twice in the last week. great for families. Good food in their restaurant. Fun entertainment on Friday nights. We’ll stay again for sure.

the only issue I had was that we didn't get any clean towels the whole time we were there even with the maid service sign on the door and when I called to ask for towels no one was in the office. but the place was very clean when we got there

Ensure you read their rules before going.
The property itself met the expectations of an inn however the staff or owners (not sure) need to use common sense. As an organizer sometimes members in my group arrive before me and this was the case at this inn. There was no flexibility from the staff even though my member had the confirmation numbers and I called to confirm it’s ok to give them their room. I was told it was against their policy. My group member had to wait an hour outside until my arrival. The room assigned to them was under renovation and didn’t even have beds in it. The error could have been corrected an hour earlier. Asking a 50 year old for their licence when they order a beer is silly and shows lack of common sense. All staff are trained to use the saying “that’s our policy “.

Front desk was rude, then put us in a room that was in the middle of being cleaned(sheets on the ground, trash bags by the door, no toilet paper or towels, etc.), they moved us out reluctantly but the next room was falling apart and smelled musty like mold. Stains on the walls and chairs, bathtub was dirty, trim on shelves was either falling off or already gone. No bugs though which is good. Overall we won't be going back.

The room we had was in poor condition. Old, things falling apart and, most of all, dirty. I killed 2 bugs on the bed. I really wanted to like this one, but it was so dirty and dingy that I just can't give it a good review.

Skyline Lodge was a value for the cost. The room was dated but clean. We loved that it is snuggled in the woods and not your typical parking lot feel of a motel. We enjoyed a cocktail in the cute onsite bar, but got in too late to try the food. Staff was friendly.

Loved this place!
We were on our way down to N. Carolina from Michigan, and this was the perfect 1/2 way place to stay. Absolutely loved it - other than the band that was hired to play the night we stayed was REALLY loud and they could have played more music that was multi-generational (we're in our 60's). Will definitely stay here again.

What a quaint little place! It’s a nice older motel style property but clean and friendly staff! Fun on a Friday night. Yummy restaurant and live music out on the patio. We’ll be back!
