One of the nicer hotels in Gibraltar. Nice breakfast at the top of the building, next to swimming pool with great views. Spacious room sizes. The annoying thing was the strange musty smell from the bathroom, which would be annoying if the door is not shut.

We were put on a room with an adjoining door so a family room I guess. The gentleman next door was snoring and coughing all night and we could hear call that. I mentioned it to reception who weren’t interested.

Good location for being away from the more busier area of ocean village but walkable to those areas in 10-15 mins. Close to Main Street and the residential areas and a short walk to Queensway

Luxury in a great location.
We love the Elliot. The rooms are always clean and tidy spacious with a fridge to put your beer in. A large tv showing all terrestrial channels along with Sky Sports. There is a swimming pool on the top but we didn't get in, we just lazed around on the sun loungers.

The first room when had was noisy as it was next to the lift and also had poor views. We then was moved to a room which was quieter and had some views of the harbor.

Gibraltar worth a trip
Very efficient friendly staff. Anything we needed was dealt with immediately; nothing was a problem. Breakfast was very good and served in lovely room by pool and overlooking the sea . Only disappointment was balcony too small too sit on no chairs or table . Rooms were a good size and plenty of everything provided including bottled water daily and chocolates . Would definitely recommend staying here . Hotel is very central too .

3 night weekend break
3 night stay. Had an executive room with large balcony. Balcony had sun loungers and table and chairs which was great for sun bathing and pre dinner drinks on the evening. Hotel fairly central and was about 10 minutes walk to cable car and 19 minutes walk to Casemates square m. Also just off Main Street with all the shops and dining options. Buffet breakfast was good and nice bar for late evening drinks. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay. Back today after a week at The Eliott. Yes, a couple of problems inevitably but resolved immediately by the excellent management team. The Veranda bar is a delight and all the staff are amazing. Would recommend highly and look forward to a return visit.

Lovely hotel
We loved the hotel, it was quiet, our room (a Superior King) was nice, spacious & clean. The bed was comfy & we slept well but I did find the room a little warm & the A/C was tricky to master & keep on for a long period. We had a great view of the Rock. A buffet breakfast is served on the 8th Floor with good views of the surrounding area. There is a small range of hot & cold food available including fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, bacon & hash browns. Scrambled eggs & omelettes can be ordered. Staff were friendly & helpful. We didn't use the pool but it looked a lovely area. The location of the hotel is quite central to most sights, either by walking, taxi or local bus. I do think more information of what to see & do could be made available in the hotel reception. The hotel is lovely but I was less taken with Gibraltar itself. It seems to be a place people visit for a day. We enjoyed the cable car, the rock & the nature park & now we've seen that have no reason to return. We found the Tourist Information Centre less than helpful. The hotel is just off Main Street where you will find a shopping area & a few eating places, mainly Fish & Chip style eateries. We used the No 5/10 Bus to get there from the border, getting off at Commonwealth Park walking via the Cathedral, Main Street & Library Street, V easy. We used a taxi back to the airport (£16-17). Would I recommend the hotel? Yes. Would I recommend Gibraltar? Probably Not & would depend on reasons for going.

For a 4* hotel there was a lack of tea,coffee water in the room ... Not frequently replenished ... I felt awful having to ask at reception for coffee to take to my room .. I ordered room service ( breakfast) not received what was ordered although staff were there straight away to sort it , it arrived to our room cold. The room was clean and comfortable We asked to be moved to another room , the staff were so accommodating. Thank you Having said that, it's twice I have stayed there. It hasn't put me off returning. Thank you for a lovely stay

Nice but could be better
A little tired. Furnishings were dated. Lights in lifts felt more like a hospital than hotel. Friendly staff. Room safe was not fixed to the wall and I had to ask for maintenance to get it screwed in. Breakfast was not good value for money.
Room safe just left on shelf and not attached to the wall.

We didn’t sleep much one night as the wind was up and we had our window closed properly but we had an adjoining door in our room that was rattling and the main door in to the room was making a noise 😢
