We had good stay with the exception of some noise where they are doing work on building. This is our second stay at this hotel. It has a good location and walkable to Broadstreet and shops. Has bar and restaurant. Would stay again.

The staff here were absolutely first class: professional, polite and helpful. The food and service were excellent, and it's clear that the reception, bar and restaurant have had a fairly recent refurbishment. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but as of now (June 2024) they are in need of modernisation.

im not sure if it was advised on my confirmation that the hotel was under refurbishment. For the cost of the hotel and it having no reception and a make up restaurant it wa disappointing

Average, small things let it down.
Nice room as recently refurbished. Hotel a bit of a building site, but I expected that from the booking process. Main issues were with the bathroom - the shower was terrible, no pressure at all and the extractor in the room wasn't working so the room was unusable for a while after a shower. The room had a large window, that you couldn't see out of as it needed cleaning.

It was OK
Although the hotel was undergoing some revamp it was still OK. I felt very welcome and was offered assistance but didn't feel I needed it. The bar and temporary reception area was well lit, spacious and pleasant. The staff were excellent. The room was satisfactory, but a little disappointed that the bathroom only had a bath, with a shower over it, rather than having a separate shower cubicle. The trek to the pool was a concern. Travel to Floor 1, and then down quite a few stairs and then up again. The carpet in this area was looking worn and tired. For someone with mobility issues the stairs were a bit of a challenge. Hopefully the trek is due to the revamp that's going on and the carpet will be replaced too. Would I stay again? Yes, if visiting Glasgow again.

Hotel currently under going renovations but the modified reception, bar and dining were all run in normal Marriott high standard. Friendly welcoming staff. Rooms as would be expected in a Marriott. Clean and mega comfy bed so had a lovely nights sleep. Rooms are going to be all modernised. I wasn’t in one of these but still comfortable and practical.
