This place is shut. To arrive at midnight on a Saturday night in Glasgow and find yourself without a place to stay was not good. No notice at all that it had closed.
This hotel is not operating … it’s in receivership. I have told one of your team on line, respond to another survey, don’t know how else to get the message through.
Your AI and bots are getting in the way of basic communication and information sharing.
You need to stop send8ng messages and make sure anyone who has booked through you knows the hotel is not operating so they don’t turn up and have major problems!!!!
You seriously have a comms problem.
When I arrived to check in I was astounded to find a sign that said the hotel had gone into administration just a few days earlier. I had not been informed prior. Do not book this hotel!
The Grasshoppers Hotel closed down the Friday before we arrived. No notice was given to alert us to this situation. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy customer care. The beds were in the hallway, trash was everywhere. It looked like a dump site. We will never, ever, attempt to stay at this hotel chain again. Still waiting to see if we were billed. Could not contact anyone about this.
Once accessed it proved to be a little gem, well situated. Helpful friendly staff, nice room, and cake and ice cream on tap after a hard day sightseeing. Good value for money, What's not to love !
Great location, right next to central station, but surprisingly quiet at night. Room was clean and confortable, and I had the two best nights sleep I'd had in ages. I'll definitely be coming back.
Lovely quiet & friendly Hotel, staff were cheerful & nothing was too much trouble, free delicious caches & ice cream, great idea with the tea & coffee room , chatted away to other guests, rooms were clean & smart, bed was comfortable & above all it was quiet , even on Saturday night.
The hotel is great, clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Location wise, it is very central, next to the train station Glasgow central, which is convenient. However, at night, the area surrounding the station and hotel is not very nice, nor clean.
Great location steps from Central Glasgow train station but feel a world apart in comfortable well designed room. They even had complimentary cakes and coffee/tea to enjoy in a lovely sitting room on this 6th Floor unique boutique hotel.
The door to the hotel was easy to find and very convenient to Glasgow Central Station. There were cakes for everyone in the foyer and my room had 2 bottles of water every day and a tube of Smarties! I loved the white, minimalist room although the ceiling fan starting on its own scared me a little. The only issue I had was that there were two mornings with no hot water.
Extremely close to the main Glasgow railway station which was great for us as we arrived from London by train. Great choice of restaurants nearby and had a wonderful meal at The Tuscany. A small room but ok for our overnight stay. Would stay here again if we were here.
Nice inside the hotel, not so great outside. Also had to wait a while for the receptionist to come to the desk and check me in
However nice bed, nice rooms, nice home baking upon check in
