Excellent.
My second time this year.Lovely hotel.Beds are so comfy.I took my grandaughters for a couple of days for shopping and booked a room for 1 adult and 2 children.I opened the room door and not only did it have a superking bed and a sofa bed in a seperate room.Not only that it had a full working kitchen.10/10.We ate in the Chop restaurant for dinner.Dinner was beautiful and reasonably priced.All in All I will be back.

Receptionist was very friendly and as it was my birthday we received a small bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The hotel was lovely and would definitely recommend the balcony room

Disappointing
We booked this hotel as a treat. Usually opting for a Premier Inn when travelling with kids. Our room was fine although not the suite we had hoped for. I would say website is very misleading. Nice big queen size bed for us but our kids were on a sofa bed which they found very uncomfortable with springs digging into them. My young kids don’t complain about beds so it must of been bad! We all had pillows which were very hard and lumpy. After the first night we asked for different pillows but were told there weren’t any. This led to nobody getting much sleep at all. On returning from a day shopping we found our room door unlocked and open. The cleaner had left it this way all day. Luckily nothing was taken. We reported to reception. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Car park is tiny so unlikely to get a space. Car park 5 mins away. Hotel matches price with their car park which is good. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return.

They stay was pleasurable. The only few things that need fixing it the lift squeaking terribly when in use that echo's throughout the hotel. The second thing is the terrible coffee. You have coffee machines in your kitchen so let the patrons use them and get a real coffee.

Enjoyed the large room and comfortable bed. Modern room with good charging points/lighting and a TV you can stream to. Great location. The hotel car park is really narrow and was impossible to park in even though there were ‘Spaces’ available they were in accessible. The breakfast buffet was OK. Not the best ever selection but nothing too bad, coffee could be better. Overall a pleasant stay

Unsettled stay
2nd time staying at this hotel and unfortunately wasn’t a great experience this time. On arrival we went to the car park which wasn’t open the last time we stayed. I would not recommend anyone use this car park it is an absolute nightmare to get parked as the spaces are very tight and very difficult to manoeuvre due to limited space. We were just lucky no one was parked next to us when we left or we wouldn’t have been able to get out of our space. Don’t waste your time just use the parking at Charing Cross. There is a lot of construction work going on around the hotel which made for a very disturbed sleep. Woken at 6am with rumbling from what I think must have been coming from the pipes. Sounded like a tumble dryer in our room. Then at around 7/7.30 construction work began and was extremely noisy. For this reason I would not stay here again until the works were complete. It is a real shame as the hotel itself is lovely and in a great position.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee was amazing, better than any cafes I've had up to the point in London, Bath. Only 1 cafe in Liverpool was on par and I'm quite a coffee snob. Comfy room with ample amenities and welcome snacks. Bed was sufficient and huge. Thankful that there's fan. Gym was small but had sufficient equipment to do the bare minimum. If you're driving here, you might need to park at charing cross and get your ticket validated. There's so much construction going on here. Highly recommend Sarti (Italian restaurant) that's 10 mins walk nearby. The best Italian we've had.
