Great location. Near Queen St. Train Station (very walkable) Friendly customer service. Overall a great stay. Can be a little loud; primarily, due to location in a pub and restaurant section of town.

Nice but noisy
The hotel and room were very nice with all staff we spoke to pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we could not make use of the complimentary Wellness Suite passes as my daughter is 14 (min age 18) - which we werent made aware of at time of booking. Reception did give us some mocktails to make up for it but was still a bit disappointed. This was also the noisiest hotel room i have ever stayed in with neighbouring businesses carrying out their glass bottle recycling until 1am and then again from 6.35am so did not get a good nights sleep despite the bed being very comfortable.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a unique old, but refurbished hotel. The view was amazing. It was reasonably priced. It was in walking distance to George Square with restaurants and shopping. The Greek restaurant that's on the square was amazing, too!

Great location. Only 2 blocks from train station. Numerous dining options and bars within 2 block walk. Nice bar area. Lunch was very good. Overall a nice place to stay.

The hotel is ideally located in Glasgow, an easy 5 minute walk from Central station. Staff throughout our stay were extremely helpful and courteous and gave us recommendations on transport, bars and eateries in the area. We paid an additional supplement to check in earlier which was ideal as we were going to an outdoor event later on that day. We were given a club room which was much appreciated . The room`s air conditioning was poor and we became very hot through the night , lighter duvets would have been welcome. Also we had no milk in the room , but this was swiftly delivered when we phoned reception. Room fairly small but clean and modern. Expensive 1 night stay due to the golf being on (we presumed) but overall a good stay and staff and location make this hotel.

The staff were wonderful and friendly. The hotel/room was clean and comfortable and smelled amazing. There was no laundry service as it stated on Expedia and the staff did not know how to advise us on where to go. It was also difficult/took a long time to hear back from the hotel when asking questions prior to the visit. Overall a good experience but could do with better communication.
