Beautiful traditional country stay
The hotel was beautiful inside and out, with a very cosy atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing in the drawing room next to the fire and the food was very good. The staff were attentive but unimposing, making it feel as if we were at home. The hotel served as a great hub for walks and we'd certainly recommend to others.

Lovely place
The room was clean and had a lovely view of Loch Shiel. The staff were also pleasant and professional. Both the breakfast and dinner were very nice, with good quality food and decent portions. We did find the bathroom in our room, while clean, was very cramped and while most toiletries were provided, there was no hand soap which was a little unusual in a hotel. Overall a very nice experience.

Wonderful stay. Loved the property, the rooms, grounds, view etc… Ben the night manager was enjoyable to speak with. I appreciated that he helped me start a fire at 6:30 am when he was wrapping up his day. Cup of coffee, sunrise and a warm fire was the perfect start to my day! Vickie and the rest of the staff were top notch, we would love to come back.

Food was fabulous. Lovely room, very comfortable with great view over the loch and Across to Glenfinnan Monument. Great views from both the bar and restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend it. One request - please put an additional mirror above the chest of drawers so that it is possible to see hole using the hairdryer.

Service was impeccable. Woman who checked us in was very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we got there. We have nothing negative to say. We previously stayed at a place that called itself a castle but Glenfinnan House was way more luxurious. Felt like royalty staying here. Beautiful house and a beautiful part of Scotland

Charming place, beautiful location, friendly staff, recently remodeled and definitely our favorite stay during our two weeks in Scotland. We arrived later than expected due to some road construction in the area and they kept the kitchen open later than usual for us. We had a lovely stay wish we could of stayed longer
