Best View in Glenwood Springs – Perched a few blocks above the Glenwood Hot Springs on the famous Iron Mountain. Relax and enjoy the views of the city and mountains along with the herd of Big Horn sheep. This three-level, high-end home features two oversized balconies with amazing views and amenities. A short (~10 minute) walk or drive to both hot springs, Yampah vapor caves, adventure park, Glenwood Canyon and numerous restaurants and shops. Skiing, hiking and water sports are all nearby.
The space
Best View is the best place to stay in Glenwood Springs. The home is around 2400 square feet with three levels tucked into Iron Mountain. The views are amazing, overlooking everything. It has a great family and hangout area on the middle floor with kitchen and dining, and an oversized balcony with a firepit chat set. The lower level offers a game room and walkout patio with a hot tub. It's on a quiet street with only a few homes. Yet walkable or drivable to all that Glenwood Springs has to offer.

The master suite (top floor) features a private balcony with a sun lounger, a huge walk-in closet, large bath area and a spa tub. The bath is stocked with quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bar soap. Bath balms and a candle will add to a soothing soak in the jetted spa tub. The king size sleigh bed offers a warm velvet duvet or comforter. Wireless chargers are located on each nightstand. The carpet is soft and new. A Pack ‘n Play is stored in the closet along with bedding and a playmat for infants and young children.

The queen bedroom (lower level) offers a lighted built-in closet with hangers and stylish dresser drawers. Wireless chargers are located on each nightstand. The room opens to the walk-out patio and hot tub. Views from the windows overlook Glenwood Springs and Red Mountain. A fully stocked full-sized bathroom with a glass enclosed shower and laundry area is across the hall.

The twin bedroom (lower level) has two twin beds and a twin futon. The bedding for the futon is stored in the built-in closet along with hangers, a luggage rack and plenty of space to hang clothes. The room opens to the walk-out patio and hot tub. A full-sized bathroom with a glass enclosed shower is next to the bedroom.

Hot tub and patio (lower level) is easily accessed through both lower-level bedroom doors. Enjoy a relaxing soak while taking in the fresh Colorado mountain air. The hot tub is designed with powerful jets and seating for six.

Game room (lower level) fun for everyone in the game room. Enjoy Mrs. Pac Man, air hockey or assorted table games and mind bender puzzles. The 55-inch HD TV offers premium channels, plus HBO Max. Bring your own gaming device, Roku or Firestick and plug directly into the HDMI port on the wall below the TV. Or power through any video game with up to 1.2 gig internet download speed.

Great room (middle-level or main floor) is in the hub of the home. Leather furniture and a big rocking chair surround the gas-powered fireplace. An OLED TV is located above the fireplace with over 200 assorted premium channels available such as HBO MAX and sport networks. Bring your own gaming device, Roku or Firestick and plug directly into the HDMI port on the wall below the TV. Power through any video game with up to 1.2 gig internet download speed throughout the entire house. Or enjoy a game of tic-tac-toe on the coffee table. The dining and kitchen area blend into the living room. A walkout balcony extends the space with more seating, a firepit, a dining table and a large natural gas grill.

Gourmet kitchen and dining (main floor) awaits with appliances to make cooking a simple pleasure. Plenty of cabinets, and counter space makes for a perfect place to gather, cook and chat. Enjoy an air fryer, waffle iron, air popper, blender, instant pressure cooker, rice maker, microwave and more. Cleanup is easy with the Bosch dishwasher. A few essential cooking supplies are kept on-hand along with pots and pans. Coffee (whole bean and ground), tea and sugar is kept in the cupboards. There is a drip coffee maker, French press, and tea kettle. A dining room table with seating for eight is next to the kitchen and living room area.

Oversized balcony (main floor) It doesn’t get much better than this! A gourmet Kitchen Aid grill. A high-top table with four swivel chairs. A firepit surrounded by thick-cushioned chairs. Fresh Colorado mountain air with amazing views of the entire valley!

Laundry room & storage area (main floor) offers a full-sized washer and drier. Detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets are stocked in the cabinet for your convenience. Extra supplies are kept in the cabinets or along the wall.

Young families will find extra child locks, outlet covers and the convertible highchair and a pool float.

Pet owners will find a comfy dog pillow, dog dishes, and waste bags. Limit of 2 dogs.

Larger groups with 7 or 8 guests will find a laundry basket filled with bedding and pillows next to the inflatable air mattress.

Office area (main floor) Remote workers bring your laptop and sit at the desk in a comfy padded swivel chair with a window view of Red Mountain. Plug directly into the HDMI cable or go wireless with the 1 gig high-speed internet (1GB). An HP desktop printer with scanner will make working remotely even easier.

Attached Garage (top floor) – Park your car in the west side of the garage with a private entrance into the house. Keep the garage door opener with you when you travel to make accessing the home a breeze.

Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley offers an abundance of outdoor activities. In the warmer season hiking and biking trails surround the area. For water lovers, the Roaring Fork Valley offers an abundance of rafting trips, fly fishing and other river fun. The colder seasons brings the mountain snow and world winning ski areas. Skiers will enjoy the local Sunlight Mountain or Aspen ski resorts (take the RFTA bus from Glenwood it is cheap and easy). Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts are nearby too within an hour drive on Eastbound I-70. Or strap on the snowshoes or micro clips and hit the nearby hiking trails. The home is 2400 square foot with three levels nestled on a quiet street on a mountain slope. It's a duplex with a shared wall and designed with complete privacy in mind. You have the whole house & west half of the garage.
